We spend 2 beautiful days in this lovley familly hotel. The view from room window is just amazing. The stuff are super friendly. Also, the breakfast is really good. The hotel is in great place if you want to explore Val d' Orcia regia. We have in plan to stay just one night, but then we realize that hotel is in great spot. Don't miss the spot called: La Foce which is nearby.

The breakfast is for Italian standards very extensive with both savory and sweet things; the different types of homemade cakes where the best. The room is spacious and clean. The price-quality of this hotel is top notch!

The private parking lot is small (there was no place when when we arrived around 5PM). There is a large public parking at 500m where we parked without any problems.

A great combination. It's an old-fashioned, family-managed hotel as most Italian hotels were in the 1960s and '70s, so it has smallish and basic rooms.

On the plus side: rooms were recently and gracefully refurbished and re-equipped, as were common areas. The view from many rooms is great as it overlooks the countryside rather than the rest of the new town. Buffet breakfast is good, including half a dozen home-made cakes and tarts, and a light family touch in the service.

Very good value for a very low price (double room at 43 Euros per night, found on a standard hotel booking site).

Room tip: Rooms looking East have a great view to the countryside.

We have nothing but good words for this hotel. Tucked away in a once bustling tourist town due to it's healing springs, med spas and magically water.

My fiance and I rarely plan our road trips. We like to drive in a general direction and discover places we would never have known to go to. That is how we found this place.

The town is stuck in the 70s and looks straight out of a Wes Anderson film. The hotel equally so, with it's quirky orange theme. It's very clean and the owner was there when we arrived in the evening, and there in the morning to get us coffee and pastries. I'm not fluent in Italian but my boyfriend is and they talked a bit about the town. A lot of hotels are closing in the area except for the ones that lowered their rates, like this one. If you are driving through Florence I highly suggest you stay at this hotel. It's a great hotel with an amazing price. There is an amazing restaurant near by with the best food and best views of Tuscany, Bar Pasticceria Centro Storico. And take a day to visit the free natural hot springs.

While quite basic otherwise, this is an exceptional value hotel in Chiancino Terme. It has nice rooms overlooking the countryside, and is close enough to shops and restaurants in town. The staff aren't that helpful and there are no hot items on the breakfast, but it makes up for it in terms of exceptional value hotel - meeting some minimum standards - in Tuscany.
