We were traveling thru Italy for nine days. This was probably the best hotel we stayed in. You cannot tell that when you see it from outside. I thought, what a hell did we booked?
Parking - free in front of the hotel.
Reception - probably the best stuff we had met, not just in Italy. You are really feel welcomed, and they are really helpful.
Rooms - big, clean, soundproofed
Breakfast - well it can be better, because you don't have warm meals like ham and eggs, or something like that, but it's pretty good
Location - great if you are traveling with a car. Old town is easy reachable, and the reception staff will tell you where can you park for free.

I spent a couple of days here with my friends. We stayed here when we joined the "62nd Concorso Polifonico Internazionale Guido d'Arezzo".

I was actually surprised when arrived at this hotel. The exterior looks pretty shabby and the location is pretty far from the town center. However, there was a sigh of relief when we got inside. The interior is quite nice and comfortable. It is definitely not the most modern modern hotel but the ambience is actually really warm and nice.

The room is nice and well equipped. It is also very clean.

The staffs at the reception desk speak English quite well. The food they served were also superb.

The only complaint is, you have to pay for the Internet, 5 euros for 5 hours of connection.

- Exterior / environment: kind of a shock (not very welcoming, e.g. gas station in front of hotel, could use some restauration)
- interior: A lot nicer than the outside! It’s not the newest or nicest, but I was not expecting a five star hotel.
- Hotel rating (stars): NOT a four star hotel, maybe 3-3,5
- Room: Good size, both room and bathroom, clean
- Bed: Good, slept well (I usually don’t sleep well in hotels)
- Bathroom: spacious, clean, little bit trouble with showers water temperature
- Service: very polite, every single time!
- Breakfast: plenty of sweet options, only a couple of savoury, this was a disappointment. When they put out e.g. ham or cheese, they only put a few slices so every time I went to get something we had to wait since all the plates were empty.

We chose this hotel for our little pilgrimage group due its proximity to the highway and the town square of Arezzo. It was easy to get in and out of the city in the morning and made Florence just an hour or so away. Also, it was very close to LaVerna, where we were coming from, and Lake Trasimeno where we were going to. The hotel thus does not have many amenities around it and not where you would want to stay if you just want to explore Arezzo, for example. The town centre is a couple of long kilometers away and a 10 Euro cab ride. But it is clean, the beds comfortable, the staff very helpful. That may have been it's saving grace. The breakfast was not fabulous but typical for this sort of place. The meals were also good, not exceptional. So, the verdict? Not a bad place to stay for a night or so on the way to somewhere else. Is that damning by faint praise? Perhaps. Another perhaps annoying thing, the WiFi service is given out in 5 hour increments for 5 euro per use. It needs a bit of updating and so on but all in all, not terrible at all. Reasonably priced for what it was.

We Stayed at this hotel for a night before heading to Roman the next day.

The hotel is pretty run down. An extremely bad smell which I suspect is from the old carpet "welcomes" us as we entered the room. The shower water runs very slowly and hot water is limited. Everything inside the room is not in shape. The bed cover stinks and is black in colour. Nevertheless it does have a pretty spacious lobby for people like us to sleep in due to the poor condition inside the room.
