The hotel is a beautiful place to stay. Lots of activities during the day and evening entertainment could be improved although the small number of entertainment staff did the best they could. Due to staff shortages in all areas I.e bar, restaurants and having to wait quite a long time for service is the only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars. All the staff were friendly and again did the best they could in the circumstances. Hopefully as the weeks come the management will address this issue but I realise we are still in difficult times at the moment. I would certainly book again and recommend the hotel

Arrived 7/6/2021. Checkin was efficient and polite. We were in room 402 which then meant about a 400 metre walk through corridors to get to the room with our luggage. Not so good. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.
Dining the first night was bad. Despite booking a time we waited in a queue for 20 minutes to be seated, then a further 15 minutes before our order was taken. Food was not good quality as previously experienced. We missed the show. Service for drinks and food did get better but never got to the level of fair. No breakfast the next day. Queue too long. Entertainment throughout was below par. Friday morning did not get breakfast despite being ordered and seated. Gave up.
I would suggest that a reasonable 3 star hotel would be better and cheaper. We wont be staying at Warners again any time soon. I will be complaining seeking a substantial reimbursement.

Room tip: Choose the main building. Not the new block.

Having seen some of the reviews in the week up to our break we feared the worst. I am pleased to report that things must have improved. Wait times for meals and drinks were acceptable in a COVID protocol dominated environment. A couple of times our food order seemed to have got lost in the system but the staff apologised and followed it up. We have nothing but praise for the staff. They do appear to be a few light on numbers for the peak times in the Main restaurant. I trust that senior management are on a recruitment drive. We spied some "observers" from head Office (?) one night in the main restaurant but that night (Thursday) was not a pressure point so not sure they would learn much that day.

Sandra in the restaurant is worthy of a name check, always noticing if it looks like your wait is getting a bit long and chasing up the order and keeping you informed.

Entertainment again was great. Lillia Grace the singer/pianist is worth a listen so you can relax before or after the main show. She is a talent.
Great weather helps. The grounds are wonderful as is the wildlife.

We recently came back from having a really enjoyable weekend, apart from having the corvid rules, which is understandable. The entertainment was brill, the leisure team, and all the staff were great and need praise for doing their best as they were so understaffed.
It appears all hospitality is under stress from lack of staff including Warner, we heard that the hotel was nearly full therfore putting staff under more pressure, so l think the big bosses out there should come down and have a go at trying to keep their customers happy with better service or an increase in pay for the staff, this could also intice other more employees.
This as not put us off going back to these lovely hotels, but happy staff will make happy guests.

Just returning from a great weekend break but like most of the recent reviews read I was very disappointed. I have stayed with Warners before and been very happy.

The facilities and rooms were excellent, however the service was awful. Waiting for over an hour for a coffee on the terrace really spoilt the atmosphere. The staff are aware of the issues but aren't able or capable to effect positive change. The hotel management seem to be really struggling to adjust following the demands of covid and were not able or willing to resolve the issues. Too few staff did not provide the required level of guest service. Better and more effective operational management is necessary. A high level of new untrained staff was obvious, and the total lack of operational management experience really showed. The new room billing process was chaotic! with many errors resulting in incorrect and/or over or double billing.

I have always been very pleased with the choice of menu and food quality, however it is a shame that the recent changes to a standard menu for all Warners locations has reduced this. Menus are repetitive, lack choice and flavour, with favourites being quickly out of stock. This really needs improvement and review. The snacks provided in the signature rooms were awful and such a waste of money.

However, I will book again with Warners, with the hope that quality and service returns to previously experienced levels.

Room tip: view location of room and choose one that suits and is convenient for you. Look at the walking involved from room to restaurant.
