I visited with my partner last week during the silent season. I agree with another reviewer that the ticket price should be lowered a few pounds during silent season. Nonetheless, we really enjoyed the tour! Our guide, Kirsty, was great. We were fortunate enough to join a small tour group (six people total). Kirsty was great at answering questions, describing Glenlivet’s history and guiding us through the distillation process. We also got to chat with Kirsty after the tour and she gave us a food recommendation to try out- thanks Kirsty!!

Personally, I’m not a huge whiskey lover but my partner is. He was driving the day we visited so it was quite nice that they offer small bottles for purchase so that you can take the samples home and enjoy them later.

Megan did a great job and I happily recommend the tour as it’s very interesting.
Only one downside - I was there during the ‘silent’ season so the stills etc. weren’t operational.
I think Glenlivet could drop the tour price by a couple of pounds when that happens. That aside, it is a good deal as three tastings are provided on the tour!

Great tour which mixed corporate with quaint. The tasting at the end was well worth the 10 pound price.

The Glenlivet Distillery is a great stop on the Whisky Trail. The tour was very informational, and we had a great guide. We learned a lot, and enjoyed the tasting at the end. The lunch we had in the cafe was also very good. Worth a visit.

We didn't go on the tour but given the friendly warm welcome and the quality displays in the visitor centre I have no doubt it would have been great. We enjoyed the small but perfectly formed shop and bought a miniature to try. The 18 year old, excellent!!
The cafe is excellent value for money. We only had drinks and traybake as it was mid morning, however had we arrived at lunchtime we would have tried lunch.
Best location visit on our holiday so far.
