We cannot recommend as so many things were disappointing. Booked months in advance and confirmed by travel agency but B&B 'lost' our reservation shortly before we departed for our trip- made new one. Waited 1 1/4 at bus location to be picked up (given wrong number for pick up). Were given an attic room with two flights of stairs to climb with luggage. (We are seniors). Bathroom had not been cleaned. Short staffed and so were multi-tasking. Long waits for meals, desk help. CC fee but would not let us change method of payment plus night's stay more than agreed upon. Wrote twice to them to let them know of poor experience - no replies. Close to the airport which is good but would not stay there again.

Always stay here when using Gatwick Airport.

Rooms are small but very clean. Breakfast is full English. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend the Six Bells Pub (very close) for dinner.

Horley village centre is a short walk away.

I had a 22-hour layover at Gatwick Airport and stayed at this guest house. After sleeping on an uncomfortable mattress as well as hard pillows for 2 weeks in Spain, I finally had a great comfortable sleep! Had a few drinks at the cozy bar at a reasonable price, then ventured into the equally cozy dining room. Had a delicious cottage with veggies, again at a decent price. Will definitely stay here again during my next long layover and wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for a week just to get away for a while. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be going back. The room was clean, the staff were friendly. The hotel is close to the station and Horley town (Station was around 5-6 minute walk, town 4-5 minute walk) Only downside to the room was there were a few blown bulbs in our room and bathroom but this wasn't really a problem. I'm sure if we were to let the staff know, they would come and replace them for us. Overall, incredibly satisfied with our stay!

Room tip: We were in a second part of the building which is off the main building. I find this much better as it felt more homely.

Stayed for one night in the room right at the very top of the building. Bed comfortable, shower EXCELLENT. Just what we needed before an early flight. Left promptly on the transfer coach in the morning feeling refreshed. Breakfast was cooked very well. Service swift, efficient and friendly. Only gripe we have is upon return from holiday, having left our car on their premises for the duration, is that the car had been moved whilst we were away when my husband had specifically asked for it not to be. Shame. Would have been 5* otherwise. I would understand if it were causing an obstruction but there was no reason for it to be moved. We will be staying here again for future holidays (provided the car won't be moved again!)
