I can not recommended the Ravensworth Arms enough. I booked a family get together for 11 people for a special occasion. The staff prepared the table beautifully and the service delivery was friendly and attentive.
The food was outstanding and portion sizes were generous. This with the fabulous location I would seriously recommend the restraunt and pub. It's a little piece of tranquillity and calm where you can relax and enjoy your surroundings as well as have a great meal.

It's been a while since we'd been here so thought it was time to give it another chance after being disappointed last time. This time the service was better, not as fast as could have been but not too shabby.
Nice food well cooked. Shame the crumble of the day is such a let down. I don't know what the crumble itself is made from but it's hard and chewy not the nice sort made with just butter flour and sugar!!
Other than that I'd go again.

Called into the Ravensworth Arms for a bite to eat. Plenty of car parking, lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly bar staff. Nice menu with lots of fresh, locally sourced produce. Didn't have to wait too long for food to arrive and it tasted great. Nice generous portions. Birra Moretti on tap - fabulous. Finished off with a nice double gin with rose lemonade and fresh strawberries. Well worth a visit.

The place itself is lovely and great for a drink but do not think for one moment that they serve anything close to decent food,
Sadly everything is bought in pre made other than some vegs and things they do cook to order like steak but otherwise the food is really mediocre at best and expensive.
We had the steak pie,you needed a magnifying glass to find the steak and when you did it was so grissely and chewy heaven knows what it was made from. I left almost all of mine and told the server at the counter that it wasn't good and i'd left most of it and he just shrugged, says it all really.
The whole meal was a waste of money, there are better local places to go to to eat than this.
Cant comment on the rooms.

What a fantastic weekend we have just had at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again. The hotel is in a secluded spot and very peaceful. Food was lovely as we ate breakfast twice and an evening meal.
Thank you.
