Called in recently and had the Tapas deal of 3 items for £10. Not strictly Tapas but Mini Fish and Chips, Salt and Pepper Chicken and Prawns in Gratin Sauce were excellent. Thursday's is steak night after 1700 with prices around the £6 -7 mark.
Good quality food with a large beer garden area to the rear.
Recommended.

This is a great local pub with a wide range and mix of people.

It’s well run and has with good food.

It also has a big well managed outside space, with play area for the kids and lots of tables and space to relax in good weather.

If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth a visit.

Attended a course at the college. A TripAdvisor search led us here for lunch. A warm welcome and prompt service. Recommended the fish finger butty. The whole team enjoyed their meals.

6 or us meet here for lunch about once a month and always enjoy ourselves. Food is good, service is really friendly and helpful. Yesterday was no exception, there is a good choice, from sandwiches to steaks. A couple chose steak pie which is usually really good, we also had fish and chips, gammon, curry and beef enchilada. All beautifully cooked and presented, and very reasonably priced. Desserts also went down well. Would recommend here for a good pub lunch.

if your not a local don't go into this place. The staff are rude to the point of serving locals who are stood behind you even though you have been stood there for 5/10 minutes and the management well im not even going to mention them how they run a business is beyond me
