Owner description: Oslo, recent winner of the EU's European Green Capital Award, is best discovered when active and outdoors. Explore all the places a bus cannot: take a bike tour and cycle through the Royal Palace Gardens or next to rushing waterfalls in the downtown; rent a bike and make your way to the various beaches along the coast; hike among the hills and lakes in Europe's largest urban forest; or island hop on one of our nature walks. Let Viking Biking and Viking Hiking show you all Oslo has to offer.

Hi Brandi,

It sounds like you took our Vikings & Beaches tour out to the Bygdøy peninsula. It is a favorite of nearly all guides who work here this time of year as it allows us to get to the beaches and sea cliffs of Oslo. Did you jump in and swim? The water this year has been unusually warm, hitting 23 degrees in some places. Not bad for being this far north :-)

Best regards,

Curtis

Josh was awesome, and very knowledgeable about the areas and the history and the influence it had on the modern city. Would definitely go back to check out more of this beautiful country.

My tour with Curtis as the guide was great. A transplanted American, he's full of enthusiasm for his adopted country and city. in addition to many interesting facts and sites, he provided insights into the history and culture that make Norway and Oslo the society they are. I did the "Off the Beaten Path" tour, which I highly recommend.

Hi Lindie,

Thank you for the nice review and I really enjoyed our tour together. It was like taking an old friend around Oslo and we had so many nice chats on tour. I hope your work trip here in Oslo went well and that you enjoyed the city both as a professional and a tourist :-)

Best regards,

Curtis Rojak
