Yet another fantastic stay at the Elysium. Once again the food was exceptional and of course, the wonderful staff throughout the hotel.
Particular thanks to Daniella, Alla and Andreas who we have known for several years. There are also some of the younger staff in the restaurant who were excellent, namely Emy and Varvara. There is a real star at the Pool Bar, Lefteris. A small supply problem was encountered but Lefteris worked hard to solve this which showed his communication skills, tenacity and resourcefulness.
Finally, the Elysium has introduced an attractive rewards scheme which will be a big benefit to regular visitors. Keep up the good work.

We have just had a week here 'by default' - we were meant to be going to the Annabelle but four days before we were due to come out to Paphos, we got told that the Annabelle was overbooked (second time this has happened to us), so we tried somewhere we had always looked at but never booked previously. We were not disappointed! What a fabulous hotel, in a different league from any other we have been to in Paphos. Our welcome from reception took away any doubts we might have had on our journey, and when we got to our room the decor and comfort of the bed was amazing, just like being at home! The bathroom was filled with white fluffy towels and Molton Brown toiletries, special illuminated vanity desk for hair and make up, and free wi-fi that actually worked.
Dining at the Elysium was a real treat, a beautiful array of varied and well prepared food at both breakfast and dinner. Champagne with our breakfast was definitely something I could get used to. We were surprised at the care and attention to detail that was given to all the meals, the desserts in particular were a real treat, with sugar free and vegan options available too. Our compliments to the chefs!
Pool area had comfortable loungers with thick mattresses, beach towels readily available from the spa.
Great coastal pathway down to the harbour with a couple of beach bars on the way for refreshment/loo stops.
All in all this is a hotel with elegance. It was our first time here but it won't be our last.

Lat year we celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at this hotel and this year again for his birthday he wanted to return as we had such a fabulous time last year. Yet again, many thanks to the staff all round for making another birthday weekend so memorable. I booked my husband's birthday dinner at the O'Shin restaurant and when I made the reservation I was pleasantly surprised to be informed by Messrs Stella Christodoulou / Rebeca Draghiciu / Cynthia Ates that they had arranged a birthday cake to be presented to my husband at the end of our dinner. Thank you to you all for all that you did to make our evening really special. The staff in the restaurant were absolutely professional and very polite and that goes a long way as it is not very often that we have been treated with so much politeness and professionalism all round. The food was excellent!!! We enjoyed it so much!! Thank you once again ; we will definitely be back in the not too distant future.

The hotel is beautifully designed and built from the mellow-coloured local stone, which gives it a rustic appearance. It's not situated in a particularly picturesque part of Paphos, but provides a shuttle bus twice a day down to the Harbour and is within walking distance of the Tombs of the Kings. On arrival, we had a very friendly greeting from Adrian, who took our bags, offered us a refreshing welcome drink and showed us around the hotel and our room.

Our room was large and well appointed with plenty of electrical sockets and storage space. The desk top opened up to reveal a large vanity mirror surrounded by lights and a hairdryer. We had a sea view room with a balcony from which we enoyed both the sunrise and sunset. Bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very well serviced, with Molton Brown toiletries and quality towels and bathrobes. The air conditioning was easy to operate and very efficient. The bed was large and comfortable.

Public areas are beautifully decorated and smell wonderful! We dined in the Epicurean Restaurant every evening. There was always an excellent choice of dishes on offer in the buffet. We didn't use the other restaurants, but all looked good. Breakfast was excellent.

All staff were super friendly and seemed very happy to be working at the Elysium. Andreas, Mikos and Katarazena were particularly good.

We loved the Elysium and intend to return in the spring when we hope to sample the food in the other restaurants as well. Excellent 5* hotel.
