This hotel was a 3 day visit & the second half of a week long package with RSD travel. The apparent cheap prices attracted only pensioners and we were not told where we were to stay until we arrived. The hotel is built on a hill with the approach via a noisy building site, so first impressions were not favourable.
Our room was in a circular block up a steep flight of steps. For people with mobility problems, it was unsuitable. Our luggage was taken by electric cart and we rode, but others walked. We later found out that we could request an electric car from the hotel lobby when we wanted to ascend., but this information was gleaned from other guests, but from the hotel staff.
When we reached our room, we were greeted by water on the bathroom floor. I would describe the bathroom as “tired”.The maintenance man did come quite quickly. replaced some vital part and mopped up the water. Later we discovered the rather antique bathroom which had an over bath shower arrangement had seized up, so the only way to fill the bath was with the shower. We called the man again and he fixed it when we were at dinner. Later it seized again, so we stuck to showers.
The room was spacious enough with two double beds and a small balcony, facing reception. There was a small fridge in a cupboard, but like other hotels, it only worked when we were in, with the keycard in the slot. We had no mini bar, which wasn’t a problem for us. The air conditioning system worked adequately, which was necessary as it was extremely hot.
Others have commented elsewhere about the antique tv which was useless. The WIFI connection was also extremely intermittent with occasional, unpredictable connection in the room. I called an it person when we arrived as I couldn’t connect at all. It was only really working properly in the hotel lobby, which was inconvenient as we were in a separate block up the hill. The rooms were cleaned daily and the bathroom toiletries replaced.
As we were on a tour, & out most of the time, we did not avail ourselves of any of the hotels facilities. We did, however walk to the main road ( about 5-7 minute walk) & found several shops including a large supermarket.
The food was reasonable. The breakfasts were large with plenty of choice eg, cereals, fruit, cheese, ham, cooked food & nice bread which could be cut and toasted. Fresh fruit was limited to halves of banana, apples and oranges. The cherries in liquid were especially delicious. The evening buffet was ok. I ate mostly fish but there was a choice. The arrangement of the dining room left a bit to be desired and many people, including myself, got regular exercise searching for things. Eg. Lemon was not near fish, milk was by itself far removed from the drinks, butter seemed to hide in various places etc. They seemed to major on sticky, gooey desserts so of which were on a high shelf above my eye level, so look up!
Overall, it was ok but I would not choose to stay there myself again.

The Vuni Palace Hotel is, for my travel and holiday needs simply Excellent! :-) My room was nicely sized, clean and tidy, with a lovely North Cyprus balcony mountains view. Thank-you! :-) The newly constructed outdoor swimming pool is also just fabulous with wonderful sea harbour views! :-) The food / drink is also great and the international staff very attentive and friendly. :-) The hotel also has a very nice onsite shop, spa and casino etc. Thank-you for a lovely stay at an excellent price and may I wish you all the very best for the future! :-)

Room Tip: Try and opt for an Outdoor Pool or Mountain-top view! :)

The price reflects the quality the rooms were almost clean but not spotless the bathrooms out dated andin very poor conditions with broken tiles molding and mold.
Wi-Fi in the main areas of the hotel was good however extremely poor in the rooms.
The food was disgusting and even water was an extra charge.
The grounds were well maintained and the pool exceptional however it appears zero has be invented into guest rooms except perhaps into rooms for their regular gamblers who were catered to. Parking at times could be problems due to construction in the area and high numbers visiting the casino on weekends. We would not again stay in this hotel considering there are numerous 3 star hotels on the island cheaper and far better appointed.

Second half of RSDtour. Not inspired - indifferent staff, poor signage, rooms varied from small to large> TV with approx100 channels, none in English or American - mainly Turkish/German/Russian.
Pool bar -cash only for Vuni customers; chargeable to room or credit card if Oscar hotel customer. Hotels fifty yards apart and both part of one hotel group!!

part of Oscar Group adjacent hotel. Pool bar cash only for Vuni Palace customers but chargeable to room or credit card for Oscar hotelcustomers!

Room Tip: Try for one in block nearest Reception/pools.

Couldn’t meet the expectations of a 5 star hotel. Not clean enough. Poor access of internet. The only good part might be the meal. The staff came to fix the internet said that our room did not in a good position for the wifi ana there was nothing to be done.
