We stayed here one night and it was fine. The room was spacious with a nice view. I had a little trouble book and had to book and rebook due to price. It was hard communicating with the hotel about this to ensure we were alright to stay there. Upon arrival I know why, the people that own it do not speak English. The person behind the desk is a relative and one of the few that only speak English. Common on the island here. The islanders are a bit more gruff we found. The hotel is in town, walkable from the ferry. They were still cleaning when arrived but let us leave our things. There is a fridge in the hallway if you need to keep things cold - but use at your own discretion. They did have the best blackout curtains of our stay in Iceland (over 16 different places). They got it. We had our one-year old and it was so much easier to sleep with great curtains. Breakfast was great. Our daughter loved the little pancakes. They also brought out a highchair and some toys for her to play with.
