Review of Fosshotel Reykjavik

I have been travelling to Iceland for three years in a row and each time I have booked this hotel simply because it has always been an excellent experience. I cannot describe how satisfied we have been each time. Not just the location (not directly in the city centre but still only a short walk), but with an excellent view over Reykjavik and quiet. Rather, the entire hotel team makes the big difference. Everyone is very friendly, polite and really very customer-oriented. We are very grateful that we were able to spend a lovely and relaxing time again at the Fosshotel Reykjavik in a beautiful room. Many thanks to the management and the entire team. Our special thanks go to Justyna. We will see you all again next year!

Good Rooms was staying in Tower Wing
The Room was Large had excellent view
They serve reasonable Breakfast and Dinner
There Lobby Bar has Good variety of Drinks with Bar menu
Some of the reception Staff are helpful
Specially Robert Walcowicz
Robert was very helpful in arranging Storage of luggage, Booking Tours and guidance on Restaurants and sightseeing spots
His guidance made journey more pleasant

This hotel is perfect for arriving and being comfortable especially to get over jet lag. Get a room with a water view, it is worth it, we had an amazing view of the Northern lights one night. Clean and comfortable. Restaraunt was buffet with a good breakfast. Good location, quiet.

This was a nice hotel and location. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Large bus tours do stop here, but the place was very nice.

Highly recommend! The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast buffet had a great selection, and there is a stop right out front where the tour buses pick up from. Also loved the beer garden, which was a nice place to relax and grab a beer/snack after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again. Bonus - it’s a short walk to the harbor, where we were lucky enough to catch the Northern lights!
Room tip: Ask for a room higher up with a view of the harbor.
