The front desk was always so nice and helpful. Our check in wasn’t until 3 but they were able to get us checked in earlier with an upgrade! The hotel was walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very please with the stay.

wonderful location. close to many shops and the setup for traveling with teens in the family suite was perfect. Front desk was always friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back! really great last night stay in Iceland

The Foss Baron is a centrally located hotel with excellent facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean,the beds are really comfortable,the bathroom was good with a power shower and loads of steamy hot water, the staff are pleasant,polite and speak impeccable english ,,the breakfast was great.. could not ask for more.

Our room had a sea view, it was warm and comfortable, even with the heating off in November. The reception staff were very helpful and the hotel was in a really convenient location. Strongly recommended.

We stayed in the hotel Mid November 2019. We had the warmest of welcomes from lovely receptionist I think her name was Nora - very helpful and informative.
We had breakfast included - good continental breakfast, big choice and a waffle maker-yummie. Great start to the day.
The rooms are a little dated but cleanliness was 5*. The bed was very hard-fine for my partner-not good for me but, called down to reception for a second duvet and they had no problem in bringing it up. I folded it to pad up the mattress.
Great base for exploring, right by the front with the main streets only a 5min walk.
There’s a bar down there with a happy hour - worth stopping as I’m sure you know, this city is not cheap.
The hotel was also really helpful in helping us confirm transfers and pickups for tours.
All in all-really happy with the hotel.
Only negative for me was the hard bed.

I loved my stay at foss hotel baron it's the second time I have stayed here. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast is great.
Rooms basic but clean, in a great location near main town and a main drop off point for all the tours.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
