Great hotel in a perfect location. Cleanliness was brilliant and the ladies on reception were really friendly and very helpful. Loved the toiletries in the room, coffee facilities and complimentary items in the fridge. The daily happy hour was a lovely touch. Breakfast was basic but so good! Great brownies and happy marriage cake!! We would definitely recommend. Thank you for a perfect first trip away since cover began.

My partner and I booked two nights here for the start of our Icelandic vacation and we were wonderfully impressed.
The hotel is beautifully designed, a modern twist to a classical design with the rooms being intimate and spacious (we stayed in the king deluxe room).
The location was perfect, everything is within walking distance and I would 100% recommend the church! Along the way you can see all the cosy coffee shops, souvenir stores and loads of small businesses.
Dinner at the restaurant is pricey but the food was prepared very aesthetically and was delicious. Breakfast was more than adequate and had great variety however I would have liked the waiter to take orders for drinks, apart from that it was lovely!
The staff at the hotel were all so lovely and very helpful especially the bartender. The receptionist gave great advice on where to park and pointed out the free parking after 16:00 on Saturday until Monday! Saved us some money!
Could not fault our wonderful experience and I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff for a great experience.
10/10 worth the money and would stay here again in the future!

Stayed here for four nights and I’m delighted that we chose this hotel because although it was more expensive than other choices, the decor, small touches like happy hour and social evening when you have complimentary snacks plus the bath house with a beautiful hot pool and sauna and fitness room, made this the best choice for us. The rooms are really tastefully decorated too. You felt special. In particular when excursions like the Northern Lights tour were cancelled due to the weather, at least you could stroll down and use the running machines or sit in the hot tub. The shampoo and conditioner supplied is also fabulous. My only negative is that I can’t recommend the restaurant for dinner – there are way better places to eat in the evening such as The Fish Company and Apotek. Compared to them, the food was very mediocre in flavour, presentation basic and ambience isn’t there.
Breakfast was fine though. All in all, a great place to stay, good location (it’s all pedestrian area), thank you Konsulat!

Stayed here for two nights, found the location perfect and the room lovely. All the staff were great, particularly Margarita who was incredibly helpful, she arranged a last minute Golden Circle Tour and rearranged a dining booking for us. Would definitely stay again. Walkable from the bus station if you are feeling energetic.
