Fantastic hotel in a central location. Staff have excellent customer service. We spent three nights here for my 50th birthday. My husband organised a surprise of champagne and balloons in the room with the amazing assistance of Nevin Shalaby. She wasn’t working the weekend so I didn’t get to meet her but I wanted to say THANK YOU. When arriving at the room I was speechless as it was totally unexpected. It made my day! The bar staff were great fun and the happy hour with free drink and snacks a welcome bonus as costs are high in Iceland. Reception staff so polite and nothing is too much. I would recommend this hotel for location, service, rooms are amazing, biggest shower I have ever been in. L’occataine products (my favourite!) the beds so huge and comfortable. Slept so well. We arranged a private transfer back to airport through the hotel which I would highly recommend as the bus transfer in through the bus terminal then into shuttle buses to the bus stop is timely and can take a long time. Next time To save time I would arrange with hotel return transfer just to have door to door transport. I would rate this 5 star hotel thank you! Iceland is an amazing beautiful country and everyone so friendly.

four nights at this centrally located hotel contributed to a wonder visit to iceland. the staff is highly trained and accommodating, eager to serve and meet any requirement. the complimentary breakfast was generous, including smoked salmon and fruit. the complimentary evening social hour was an unexpected bonus. hotel dining rooms are usually to be avoided, but we were somewhat tired one evening and pushed the easy button. the food and service did not disappoint. if we were to visit again i can’t imagine staying anywhere else. the place and people were special.

The attentiveness of the staff was superb. The small details (such as social hour, free mini fridge with snacks, nepresso machine in room) of the hotel really separate it from the others in a good way. The facilities and decor are top notch. We loved the mini spa! Breakfast has lots of options and was delicious. Coming “home” to our room at the hotel was a delight after a long day of seeing the beautiful sights of Iceland. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud!
