Modern yet comfy hotel with spectacular views. Rooms were spacious, with the right amount of furniture and accessories. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. On arrival there was a welcoming display in the room and note wishing my wife a happy birthday. Honesty bar was well stocked and a great idea.

Wowzers!! One of the best stays we’ve ever had anywhere and the best views ever, bar none! Tower Suites is a top-tier stay all the way with comparable concierge service to match!
First, the views! From our corner suite (Akrafjall room 7) we had stunning westerly and southerly views of the bay and the city. It felt like we were in the clouds with the floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive views.
We stayed starting NYE for 4 nights and had specifically chosen these accommodations for the fireworks views, and they did not disappoint! Wow!!
Keycard entry is controlled both from the ground floor as well as via elevators (they zoom!) and at the top floor reception area which also provides a seating area with well-stocked bar, fridge and espresso corner (alcoholic beverages additional).
The building is situated within walking distance of the bay, Harpa Opera House and many restaurants and shops. It sits within the 101 district. A car is not required.
In our room, we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of Roederer Champagne, chocolates and a personal handwritten note wishing us a Happy New Year!
The room was well-appointed with lovely products, robes, slippers, an iPad, and ample closet and storage space.
The staff had the pull-put sofa and roll-away bed set up for us. The bathroom sits in the middle of the suite, providing some modicum of privacy between the incredibly comfortable King bed and the children’s bedding.
The piece de resistance was the daily breakfast which was brought to our room at our selected time each day was absolutely wonderful! Each day’s spread was slightly different but it was all abundant and delicious!
We want to give an extra big shout out to Julia, who made us feel so very welcome with a friendly and warm smile every single time, and who went above and beyond to provide us with outstanding hospitality during our stay!
When Julia realized we had an extra early tour pick up the next morning and would not have time to eat breakfast in the room, she immediately offered to package up to-go breakfasts. We found our individual To Go breakfast baggies filled with all sorts of goodies including handmade sandwiches waiting for us upon arriving back to our room after dinner.

Tower Suites is a 5-star stay in every sense. There is no spa but there is an expansive gym open 24/7 on the bottom floor which our son used daily (nightly).
And the reception / living room area with couches, coffees and teas and other refreshments available 24/7 feels like your own living room … a living room with gorgeous million dollar views!
The ambience is elegant and sophisticated but also feels warm and inviting.
We have stayed at top-tier accommodations all over the world. This is truly a special, unparalleled experience thanks in large part to the exceptional team, and I cannot recommend it enough!

This was an amazing stay. Great hotel, large rooms, all day coffee and tea, great breakfast in room. Good location as well. I cannot say enough about this hotel. But best of all was the staff. Extremely helpful. Helped me to book restaurants and activities. They were amazing . I will come back
Amazing!!! When I arrived I had a birthday cake and some balloons with a lovely message! The view was perfect we saw the volcano eruption from our room! Also we was booked on a trip and the taxi did not arrive so the sales manager took us to our bus! Saved the day highly appreciated! Amazing stay thank you so much!!!
We stayed for 3 nights for my husbands birthday trip to Iceland and it was absolutely wonderful. The rooms are so comfortable, huge comfy bed and beautiful views. The bathroom is beautiful with a big bath looking out over Reykjavik. The staff are also incredibly supportive and friendly and they went above and beyond for his birthday. You can help yourself to drinks in the reception area, which we did each evening, making hot chocolates. It feels very comfy and homely and there’s everything you could ever need in the room. The breakfast each morning was wonderful. We enjoyed everything and will most certainly be returning.
