The hosts is located 10 minutes from Stockholm central station. So it's super central.
We just stayed one night but it was really nice. The staff was friendly, the room was super clean and had a great style.

This place is big, its clean, looks brand new and has all the facilities you could need. The staff consists of young and friendly people who are happy to help you with anything you might need.

Also, it’s cheap which doesnt really make sense.

I was dissapointed by how small the public areas were compared to Copenhagens Generator. Much better over there if you want to party and have like 1 minute walking distance to your bed. But I wont deduct points for that because I consider it a bonus.

The Hostel is huge with a lot of rooms. People at reception are nice, young and helpful.
Rooms are big and clean with comfy banks equipped with invividual lamps and usb ports.
It is located right in the city centre so it is a perfect spot to explore the city specially if you are young and wanna socialise with other people.
The only 2 things I didnt like are that they charge you for a towel 3 euros - bit tacky.. and they do charge you for storing your luggage after checking out..

Other than the 2 points above, Its a great place

Hey u30262! :) Thanks very much for the 4 circles review on TA! :) We get a charge out of your nice feedback! :) Glad to know you enjoyed your stay and liked the place! :) As for the towels, yes, they are not included when booking a shared room, however, can be rented for 30 SEK/st. The bags can be stored in our lockers for a small fee too, right. We have places for more than 790 beds, so given that size, it's, unfortunately, impossible to organize a common storage room. That's why the automatic lockers are considered to be the safest choice, to our mind! :)

Tanks again for your positive comments! We wish you safe travels and hope to see you soon again!

This is a huge hostel in Stockholm and considering Stockholm is so expensive a lot more than just backpackers stay here. I saw families from Asia, businessmen from all over and groups of 17 year old high schoolers. It runs the gamut of visitors.

I reserved a private room through the hoteltonight app and was originally put in a dorm room alone. After some complaining, I was put in a normal private room on the last two nights of my visit. The room was very cool and well designed. Plenty of room to move around and even a desk to do some work. They didn't provide any soap or shampoo though which I thought was very weird for a private room, plus its a little unsanitary!

The bar area was very lame though and it closed at 11pm. They only served beer too which is just silly considering not everyone drinks that. I usually only stay at hostels with bars when I travel since it makes it easier to meet other travelers. But that was not the case with this hostel bar. For being such a big hostel, I thought they would plan activities for its guests each night. I stayed at the Generator in Copenhagen and loved it for that reason. But I found there were not a lot of 20-30 year old travelers in this hostel which made my stay kind of boring.

The whole place felt very impersonal and I would not recommend it or stay there again. It was in a decent location though. Close to the train station and main area but there were no bars within short walking distance. (Except the bar/restaurant attached which was always DEAD! At the most 5 people would be in there even though on the website it makes it look like a happening place!)

Hi Jimbobsister! :) Thanks for the feedback! :)

When booking through an external booking channel like HotelTonight, the room type becomes the choice of the guest or the booking agent. In your case, HotelTonight sold you a private quad room. I'm glad though that our reception staff helped you to switch to a double room :)

Sorry to hear you didn't feel the vibe in our bar, you stayed with us during the slow season, and probably, on a week day. The photos you saw were probably the ones of our night club Hilma which gets super viby and crowded on the weekends :) We're trying to do our best to make sure our place is always fun, but when the occupancy is low, it's a bit complicated. But your comments are noted, we'll look into improving this. As for the drinks in the bar, there's a variety of them on the menu, the beer is though chosen the most often, right, especially during the happy hour :)

Thank you very much for the feedback again, it helps us improving :) We hope you had a blast in Stockholm anyways, and we hope you'll give us another try soon again!!

Best regards,
Duty Manager

Stayed for a week while working in the city. Excellent location within walking distance of city centre, train & bus stations. Room was clean (stayed private twin 702) but bathroom pod a little basic & cramped. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The price averaged £130 per night which is unbelievably expensive compared with hostels in the UK but everything costs a fortune in Scandinavia so it’s kind of to be expected! In fairness there was a Red Bull event on, so I think the place was fully booked bumping up the price. Note if you’re used to staying in hostels this one has no kitchen which would have been really handy but there is a 7 eleven over the road for snacks.
Overall 7/10 would stay again if I visited Stockholm or any of their other locations.

Hey Martin H.! Thanks so much for the nice review on TA!! :) So happy to know that you had a pleasant stay with us and liked the place! :) Good to know that our staff took good care of you too!

Yeah, the pricing policy depends on many factors like occupancy level, events that take place in the city etc, so it's quite common in hospitality that prices always fluctuate :) As for the kitchen, given the size of our building and a huge number of beds we have, it's impossible to organize a shared kitchen, unfortunately. But our restaurant and bar always have a nice variety of drinks and food to offer!

We hope you had a great time in Stockholm and see you next time :)

Safe travels!
