I have recently come back to the U.K after spending a holiday at The Olive Tree. I have stayed here before so know the hotel and area quite well. On the whole I believe this is a hotel that has qualities that shine from the rest. For many the centre of attraction would be the large pool, modern comfortable villas, helpful friendly staff and beautiful well kept grounds. Being from the U.K I was expecting at least a small selection of food to be of my taste, I feel this was one of the areas that needs to be looked at if the hotel wants to encourage U.K visitors. I have stayed in other hotels in Kyrenia all of which have food to my taste. My holiday was a Bed and breakfast one, there was a huge selection of cheeses, meats, fruits bread etc and you could have a omelette if you wished. Fried breakfasts involved an extra charge? there were no cereals. I do not want to create a song and dance about the food it is a personal thing. I would encourage people to book a holiday at The Olive Tree, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hustle of town life this is one of those hotels worth a visit.More
