My wife and I stayed for 3 nights, overall had a pleasant stay.
Things to appreciate- front desk/ reception very welcoming and helpful, always there with a smile. At one point was assisted by 3 staff members to find me a UK to Europe converter. Check in/ out very smooth.
Location couldn’t be better- almost all the major attractions are in walking distance, Copenhagen’s popular postcard place, Nyhavn was about 3mins walk!! Lots of food options nearby, metro stations in close proximity too.
Buffet spread- regular spread, with good selection of breads, cheese, fruits, juices, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, sausage etc.
Things to improve- The room- by no means if felt like a 4* room. Wasn’t properly cleaned, noted on the last night that there were cobwebs in the bedside lampshades. The air con is the room didn’t work properly, felt the need on the last night, after turning on wasn’t cooling. It looked like there was some leak issues before and a stack of tissues was lying over the wardrobe, just under the air con.
The mattress- Weird to see a matttess topper in a 4* hotel that too not proper size and covered with small bed sheet exposing the outer edges of the mattress below; also the pillow covers were of odd sizes.
No food menu in the room despite the option for ordering room service. They did have an option to serve breakfast in the room with an extra surcharge of DKK 50 however, the presntation in the tray could have been better; fruits came as a big pile, some grapes even squished. The cheese too was presented poorly, Brie was dry; sorry not being picky but don’t expect this in a 4* property.
And the bathroom need some upgrade too- bath drain rusted, exhaust took long to vent steam and some stains along the bath glass.
