Although the kindness of the staff and the good location of the hotel...MANY things have to improve to make this place tolerable... The every day room service is absent, the let’ say bathroom too narrow, the towels used to be thrown apart...

Not the best experience as the hotel is old
not well maintain, For years maybe giving the impression going back in time...
However in a good location and somehow friendly staff ( depends with whom you’re dealing )
Do not pay more than 25 euros to stay there
If they ask you for more better try another hotel
Im surprised with such bad reviews how come the management or authorities do not take any action.
Hotels like those are bad for the reputation of the island and the Greek tourism in general
Also , all major on line booking hospitality applications shouldn’t include hotels, restaurant etc with very low ratings and many negative comments in their lists.
The hotel is quite cheap and central.The breakfast is ok as well. And this is where all the good points end... My room was on the first floor, no balcony and the left window shutter was broken.. That meant that everyone could see through as it is on the first floor. When I informed the receptionist about the broken shutter they did not seem surprised... They knew it was broken (and not by me haha!). The lift was out of order and there was only 1 available channel on TV. The fridge was not working and the air conditioning was making a weird noise (not sure if it was working properly!). The internet was not available after 11pm for some reason and the reception was terrible!
Very poor Infrastructure ! Spent 1 Night and Never again! Unfriendly staff - very poor breakfast - No bowl for cereals - tiny small rooms - no shower curtain - moving sink and toilet - stuck 2x in elevator - AC and WiFi working with nice view on the entry of town - good for very low expectations !
Do not go to this hotel, never. The reception is at the image of the hotel: a disaster.
When we first arrived, we had the surprised to discover that the room was not cleaned up. We noticed the reception, they said that a group had just been living, so come back later. We came back more than an hour later (it was 3pm), the room was still not cleaned. Answer from the reception: "I have nothing to tell you". They just didn't care!
Back in the room, we had another suprise: the door lock was almost broken, being attached by only one screw (which means that it would have needed no effort to enter in the room). We also noticed a lot of scratches on the door, resulting probably of previous attempts to force the door. We warned the cleaning lady, and she told us to lock the door from the inside to be more secure... yeah
Speaking about the cleaning, it's another joke. Do not expect a cleaning on a daily basis, nor expect any cleaning of the floor.
Then, icing on the cake, on our 5th day at the hotel, we arrived at 23:00 and discovered that our door was open, and the lock was broken, laying on the floor. Hopefully nothing had been stolen, but again, we noticed the reception. They insinuated that we were responsible for this, as the cleaning lady did not mention anything (of course, because the cleaning had not been done. It may even be that it's the cleaning lady that has broken the door due to the fragility. Anyway, we had to argue a lot with the receptionist to have another room, because the hotel was full and his answer was "at this hour, where do you want me to find a room for you". Yeah again. He then gave us the key of a customer not already there, and said "I hope that he will not arrived, otherwise there will be a problem".
I do not even mention the price, clearly overrated, nor the so called free parking for customers. Yes, it's free to park, but in the street, and due to the location, good luck to find a place :)
Conclusion is simple: AVOID THIS HOTEL !!!
Our door had a problem, we've said to the cleaning lady and she said us to lock. One day we return and the door was opened (nothing stolen) but the guy in the reception gave us one room hoping that the person who reserved will not come claiming that is midnight and he cannot find us another room in Lefkada. So, we won't have any room. AVOID THIS HOTEL! It was not actually the first problem we had. But it is the most important one. The only good thing is the location. The staff is not even polite, the breakfast is just a joke and when we arrived the room was dirty (claiming that it was a misunderstanding not only for our room but for at least other 4) and instead of checking in at 14:00 we entered in our room at 15:30. Obviously, when we came back at 15:00 it wasn't ready so we had to tell once again and the woman did not even apologise. NOT AT ALL PROFESSIONALS.
