On business in Lisboa, took a wall to the palacio the Justitia .

Time to have lunch came to this place.

It is a Michelin star restaurant with a beautifull view.( see photo)

No reservation but it was still pretty early.

Had the 3 course lunch which was brilliant , some paring wines.

Was a surprise how cheap ( to west European standards) it was.

Go see for yourself, I know I will!!

I come back!!

Thank Richard V

When we came back to Lisbon after 2 years we decided to again have dinner at the 11.
It was again a wonderful evening.
The food is excellent, made out of many local ingredients and the tastes are so well balanced. The accompanying wines have been chosen very well.
We enjoyed this visit very much and will for sure come back whenever we are in Lisbon.
Thanks a lot for that experience.

The location is perfect. We sat at the window and you can see the whole town, the castle and the ocean. The food is excellent. We had the tasting menue. Each dish was very tasty, service was good. The tuna started was basically melting in your mouth. Sopa de piedras was originally presented by the consome being brewed in front of you. Suckling pig was delicious and the brownie for desert was just perfect. Overall the typical Michelin star experience you would expect.

Price above average in the city. Good food, varied and with good flavors. We love the view that the place offered us during our lunch, very good service and great wines.

The web of the restaurant tells a story of a fantastic chef, who has worked on several 3 Stars restaurants in France. We arrived to a concrete castle painted in a strange color build in 2004, looked more like a prison. It took a while before the reception understood who arrived, several different named were pronounced. But finally mine too ,we sat at a table close to the big windows overlooking people passing by. The arrived with the message of aperitifs sparkling possibilities, I asked for a glass of white local wine, they gave me the winelist and left. No list of wine by the glass, I called another waiter , who then left and later came with a completely unknown wine no other to chose from. Weird start but it went on until the end. We were inform that these 3 menu was the choice for the whole table, we took the Atlantic menu mostly fish and shellfish plus the winepairing . Three amuse bouchon was served succesive , with wine that did not fit , the horror continued to the fish dishes which looked fine on paper but bad and tasteless in real life, still the wine was a misunderstanding. Cheese arrived 3 pieces of local cheese which were most nontasty, a glass of sweet latebottled Port was the Sommeliers thought, wrong again. Then dessert or what it was, uneatable no taste at all, again the wine was a mistake, maybe a strong cocktail would have worked.
We asked for the bill and the older waiter that it was the worst meal we ever had, he told us to specify, our answer was all of it, If he should tell the kitchen, we said as a choir YES and left into the taxi while we wondered, how almost 300€ just dissappered out of the blue. A one star Michelin restaurant can get away with that, can’t believe it, but it is sadly the thruth.
