The hotel rooms have a great view over the sea (Vasco da Gama Beach), staff friendly and good breakfast!
You pay for a 2 star hotel, so cant expect 5 star service. Minimal room, but clean and great balcony. Id say it beats many 3 stars ive seen.

Breakfast has fruit and real nutella.
In the heart of the city centre, a few steps to the beach, restaurants and castle. (And supermarket and pharmacy.)

I absolutely reccommend this hotel! Simple, but good.

If you ask for a room with sea views, then you are ok. The views to the bay are wonderful. The hotel is a bit worn down, but the service is good, breakfast is just fine. It's difficult to park near the hotel and there are good food in restaurants nearby.

I spent the night here with my wife, the staff was super nice, the room was clean and comfortable, no ocean view for us we didnt asked for it. The breakfast was nice too and the price was reasonable. Overall it was a good experience.

I stopped at this hotel on a slow road trip from Lisbon to the Algarve. Firstly the hotel is very difficult to find if you are arriving by car. The beach road at the bottom of the hill has some parking but you will then need to climb a lot of steps to reach the town. The hotel itself has no name sign on the beach facing side and a small half hidden sign on the inner courtyard by the front door. Once inside the receptionist was very helpful and the room was ok for a 2 star place. The view is ok if you can ignore the refinery and the ugly docks off to the left. The price is hard to justify however. It costs more to stay here than I paid for a 5 star hotel in Lisbon that same week.

Room tip: Beach view rooms are a must.

Great room, great balcony, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Walls are thin and we heard the sounds from other rooms, tricky to find as it is set in from the other places in the street, limited parking nearby. But again, great location, pretty, clean, wonderful views from room.
