This canopy covered shopping street, about two (American) football fields long in the center of Brussels' old city, is a great way to experience the multi-national flavor of this great Belgian city. The shops are also enticing - especially those with chocolate - but the sounds of multiple languages being spoken lets you know you're in a true international venue. Built in the 1800's, it pre-dates another fabulous and similar space in Milan

Beautiful place to have a walk. Great if it's raining (rain is a very good partner of the Belgian weather). Inside some very expensive fashion stores.

Take a break from the sun and walk indoors for a variety of upscale clothing stores and chocolate shoppers.

Beautiful architecture and a few restaurants.

A range of shops and cafes inside 2 100m parades. Can get very noisy and echo-y but sipping a coffee in the outside seating area of one of the many cafes is not a bad way to spend an hour or two.
