The hotel deserves a five star actually.Way better than some 5 stars i stayed. It's panaromic view of the city from the teras resraurant is charming and the food is probably the best in the city!Sea food and salads are freakingly great.I stayed at a junior suit which was extremely satisfying for it's price and wifi works flawless.Bar is big enough and has plenty varieties.Good thing is wc and smoking room is just next to the bar which is good.Breakfast is perfect! For diamond traders it's the best hotel coz it's 2 mins walking to the Diamond Bourse.Train station will take a minute if you're fast walker...

(Minibar was full+full of yummy snacks and beverages!)

We have stated here a number of times now. The hotel location is ideal, shops and restaurants right near by.
Everything is clean and the decor is nicely done. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only point I would make, although very good, 20euros for the breakfast is a bit steep.

Comparing to other hotels in Europe I think it's overpriced hotel.
Room size is small, the hotel is clean and quiet, so is the room.
The pressure in the shower is too low, the water gets hot and cold alternatively, it can drive you nuts.
The air conditioning is complicated to operate and it's not functioning well.
the elevators and stairs and entrances to the hotel are bit confusing, not easy to explain...
the service is okay, The WiFi is fast.
The only plus point is the location near the central station..

1 minute walk from Central Station, the Hylitt is a pleasant hotel 15 mins stroll from Antwerp old town, where you can sample magnificent beers in fantastic bars. Was described by staff as a 'business' hotel, so was v quite during Easter week. The bar was really nice but there was only 2 of us in it. The restaurant on the 6th floor had great views and did a delicious tagliatelle. Pool was nice and gym looked fairly up to date.

We booked 2 nights in executive. Room clean, large and enough space for the additional baby bed. Quick and professional check in and out, receptionist kind and helpful. Very good breakfast with good selection of food. Good location and parking facility in the basement....all pros no cons (except maybe the bed....a bit small and too soft) ...highly recommended.
