We shared a cold platter and a hot platter between two of us. They both came with great variety of seafood, which tasted very fresh and delicious. Though tables were a bit crammed, the service was good and prices were reasonable. I suggest you book in advance

This establishment is very modern, lots of white and and lots of young people serving. It specialises in seafood as the name implies but it is a bit hard to choose from all the alternatives. Since we couldn't choose we settled for a platter which gave us a little bit of everything. We did have a couple of crab cakes first which was good since the volume of food on a platter is a bit restricted with all the shells and stuff that's not edable.
Service was prompt and pleasant. We even got free champagne as a starter since our table was not ready when we arrived. Wine and dessert (lemon pie) was also great.

Really good place with an amazing food, but we have to spent a lot of time in a line, despite that we have a reservation at a certain time and came on time. But the staff is really friendly.

Everytime we come to Amsterdam, we will definitely come back to this restaurant! I highly recommended mix grilled. It is quiet big portion but you will have everything in it. Our waiters, Thomas was friendly and helpful too ! Happy customer !

We went here for a late lunch in April and were lucky to get a table for two without a reservation, because this place is definitely a favourite and therefore quite busy. We weren't too fussed about where we sat so we took a place near the entrance windows. The ambience was generally pretty nice but the floors near us were so grubby with pieces of bread etc on the ground. In fact there was a cute doggy next to us eyeing the old food so we asked the owners if it was OK for it to have the bread. The floors were cleaned up within a minute or two :D

We waited a while for someone to take our order but for a long time no one attended to us. We had to wave our hands around a bit to grab their attention but once the order was made, the wine bottle were brought to us quite soon. The food took a bit of time but that was OK cause we were enjoying the wine at the time.

We aren't big eaters so we ordered the fruits de mer and a side of fries to go with it. Maybe it's because we only ordered one (quite a large) dish and a bottle of wine that they did not serve us any bread, which every other table was served. Or maybe it was because we were brown - we'll never know. Haha!

The food came soon after and we realised that only ONE of the cockles actually had meat in it. (I've included a pic as proof). We pointed this out before started to dig in and the waitress was kind enough to replace the whole lot. The rest of the food was pretty good - I loved the salad that came with it.

At the end when we paid the bill, we got the wrong change, but once we pointed out the error, they quickly brought us the correct change.

All in all, the food and wine was good and the waitress was quite attentive. I think the small errors didn't make our experience good enough to give an excellent rating, but the waitress really did make up for it with her attentiveness.

Would I go again? I'm not too sure, because the place is just too busy for them to provide "excellent" service and the finer/smaller things seemed to be overlooked.
