We wandered by prior to the opening and happened to get into a conversation with (I think) the owner. Who told us about the freshness of his seafood and just how good his food was. He invited us to return that evening and so we did just that. The evening was warm, so we opted for a small table right next to the canal. It was a little precarious, my chair was definitely at a slant on the sloping sidewalk, but we had a view of the 7 Bridges, and the it was a beautiful Sunday evening. Our waiter had a lot going on, but was cheerful and really took great care of us. And then came the food. It was so very good. I had smoked chicken with pesto and my partner had mussels with shrimp. Beautifully presented, and oh so delicious. What a wonderful evening that was accompanied by great food, excellent wine and good people. Could not have asked for better.
