Getting to this restaurant requires taking the short (free) ferry ride from immediately outside the central train station; then its a 5 minute walk to the restaurant. The food and service are both great and well worth the effort of getting there.

We visited Mount Everest Tandoori on a whim after a long time of traveling, in search of a warm delicious meal. We got more than we expected at Mount Everest Tandoori! We arrived around 10 pm worried that the kitchen may be closed but they were very patient in serving us and didn't pressure us to leave even as the time got close to closing. The location is a quiet neighborhood but once you're inside you're greeted by beautiful decorations and a warm atmosphere. The service is amazing, timely, and thoughtful. Our waiters checked in and gave us recommendations. We had the palak paneer and two chef specials and we cleaned the plated! I'm from New York, where we have a pretty wide range of Indian restaurants and cuisines from different regions. This was by far the best Indian food I've ever had. If we are ever in Amsterdam again, we hope to revisit!

Also, my mother left her phone by accident and they had all apparently come out looking for us as soon as we left. She came back to find it the next day and welcomed by the staff!

Once again, We had a lovely moment at the restaurant. Last night we chose to revisit at same old place for dinner. This time we had completely different experience than previous time. No any complaints and totally worthy , as well recommendable. We definitely would like to make next trip again there.

It was an excellent restaurant. My sister and I ordered the garlic naan and the butter chicken and it was really great. The waiters were really attentive. Two colas and those two dishes were total 29 euros. We would definitely go back there!!!

We went here because of good reviews on TripAdvisor and it sure lives up to its reputation!

I had my first Nepal food ever there. It was a lamb dish and it was the greatest lamb dish i've ever tasted!
It was the only Nepal dish on the menu but it was sooooo tasty.
A friend from Nepal later told me that lamb meat isnt that very common in Nepal, but i don't really care since it was so good.

My partner who ordered indian food was also very satisfied.
The employees were so nice and kindly shared us storys about the dishes and their culture. You could really tell that it was so important for them that we felt comfortable and satisfied. Before we left the place they offered us a shot of sweet booze (with a story about it) for free which we of course accepted. So nice of them!

I highly recommend this place!!
