The hotel services were versatile and the stuff was helpful and useful, the bad was a bit stiff but the room in total was spacious and causy.
The breakfast was not rich but with good taste, but the dinner.... Wow it was a disaster...
The flavours were bad, the price was very expensive and the service was slow...
Better to have a dinner somewhere else and save yhe money...
The location was a bit far from center but we took a bus, which came every half an hour, and we were only couple of stops from city center.

We stayed here for 5 nights and had a room in the main building. The room was great with a huge, comfortable bed, fabulous bathroom with a huge shower and lovely views. The restaurant served a good selection at breakfast which would cover most people's choices. It did get quite busy so had to queue for some items but staff were very helpful. In the evenings the menu was very appealing with my husband loving their sesame prawns. The pool area was lovely and quiet but guess this was just the time of year. The highlight of our stay had to be the bar manager Atla who was the most amazing host, entertaining us until the early hours and introducing us to a whole variety of different drinks. Without Atla I think it would have been a very different stay. He was awesome!

Our time at Garden Hotel Siena was an absolute delete. The staff on the desk, in the Resteraunt and the room service, all helpful and professional. The room was very well appointed. The Resteraunt breakfast buffet and evening menu very good.

Room tip: Refrigerator in cupboard had poor ventilation and caused cupboard to get very hot.

Staff, facilities, and food was great. Bed were VERY hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, stay was wonderful. All was clean and staff was very hardworking and gracious. Great base for exploring Tuscany and Siena.

My wife who is a chronic coeliac chose to stay in this hotel, having picked it from gillisholidays.com. Gillis Holidays have a specialised section for dealing with resorts for coeliacs.
Upon arrival, we explained that my wife was trusting the hotel to provide glutenfree breakfast and dinner for the next eight days. We were assured that this would not be a problem. Prior to dinner on our first night we were introduced to Donato who is the maitre 'd for the hotel. He re-assured us that being coeliac would not be an issue for us;- he would take care of everything and we were to relax and stop worrying. During the course of our stay he emerged as a real hero. Every staff member in the restaurant was told that my wife was a coeliac and on every interaction throughout the next eight days and nights, they let us know that they were aware of our requirements. They worked very hard to ensure that we had a great time and we felt really special throughout our stay in the Garden Hotel. Each night, Donato offered us a choice of courses (many weren't on the menu) when taking our order for dinner each evening; he recommended the most appropriate wines; he told us the price in advance; if we were unsure of what to go for, he gave us a small taste to ensure were happy before we purchased. He was never wrong and the most expensive bottle was €25.00. This guy knows his business. Donato 'is a big hearty man' with a very generous attitude and nothing seems to be a problem when it comes to looking after his guests. We went to Tuscany for the scenery and architecture and we stayed at the Garden Hotel for the food. We were delighted to have a hotel holiday, where nothing went wrong (a first for us).We are very happy to recommend this hotel. Just two tips (1) When an Italian chef cooks a steak 'medium', that's 'rare' for an Irish person, so keep that in mind. (2) With all the tiling throughout the hotel, you are likely to hear those "wheelie suitcases" being dragged out early in the morning by departing guests. Other than those two items, we loved the location, the grounds, the general ambience, the buildings and the decor (check out the magnificent floor rugs). It's not the most modern hotel, but our room was generous in size with great free internet. This is listed as a four star hotel and if it doesn't deserve the full four stars, it is definitely a 3.75 star, but with a limited menu of good food. We hope to return to it for another holiday.

Room tip: Ask for a quiet room when booking
