Owner description: Poderi Arcangelo Winery covers 25 hectars of organical vineyards and olive trees in San Gimignano. The Mora family run their farm from 3 generations and produces approximately 1.600 hectoliters of wine per year, with actually a limited selection of about 70.000 bottles. Our main production of organical labels is: Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG Basic and Selection Terra del Lago, Vernaccia Riserva, Chianti DOCG, Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG, Supertuscan San Gimignano Red Wine DOC barriques and Extravergin Olive Oil. One of our key success factors is to keep up to date with the technological development. In the last years our farm has become more sensible about environment ‘s respect and in the 2011 we have developed a 50 KWH photovoltaic plant. We are supplying international and national clients, giving particular attention to our customers needs. We actually operate successfully in many foreigner markets and our future strategy is to expand our business

We' ve been there in 2008, husband and I in a room for two in the main building. It was OK, but hte breakfast was poor, so we decided to skip their breakfast and had our own breakfast. In April we stayed in appartment with the kids, it was avesome, the inside is great, and the outside is even better.Quiet, everything is rustic, styled with taste. The pool is nearby and I'm sure that in May and June is even nicer, when you can swimm in the outher pool after a long day of sightseeing. The price was lower than in all other accommodation we stayed in.I recommend it!

This place was exactly what we had hoped for. A quiet place in the hills with gorgeous views that could grace any guidebook. Best suited to couples rather than families or groups. Dinner was available either as a full meal of local specialities and wine or a hearty platter of meats and cheeses. There is no bar but we bought wine from the lovely staff in the kitchen. After long days seeing local sights we found that watching the sun go down and stars come out next to the infinity pool was the perfect way to relax. The people were great but it's not like a hotel with staff on hand all the time. It's a working farm so they have other stuff to do! We spent a little extra and were rewarded with a great room with a view. Car is essential.
