Sat outside on Thursday 12th July for nearly 20 minutes completely ignored by the waiters whilst at least 4 other tables who turned up after us were served . Don’t bother unless you’re Italian
Historic café in the center of Pisa , piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, table in and out the café, prices average.
Dropped in for a coffee on the way to the station. Service was fast and the coffee just as good. We sat on the outside seating which was great for a bit of people watching.
Having walked up and back from tower and before boarding airport tram we needed some sustenance sadly we didn't get much here. The pastry was very dry and flaky while the cream was thick and chewy. Certainly needed the cup of cappochino to wash it down but at least it was good. Sitting at table outside looking onto plazza helped pass the time till our trip was finally over.
No eye contact
No information where you are allowed to sit before you pay
Won’t go here again
There are so many better places with really nice staff
But this place is located just outside the shopping area so if customers don’t come back... no worries, there are plenty more to come.
Hot, tired & waiting to check in our hotel on our first day in Italy, we went to this nearby spot for an apertivo. We enjoyed sitting outside in a shaded place, watching people pass by as we had a spritz & some nibbles. The pastries in the indoor bakery case looked good, but we resisted. Maybe next time.....
