My husband and I spent four nights at the Tuscanian and had a lovely time - I would give it 6 stars if I could! Everything was wonderful, from the clean room, friendly staff, perfect location in the center of the city, nice breakfasts. The staff were so helpful with moving and parking our car as needed, and they also left us a bottle of Prosecco as a honeymoon treat! I would stay here again anytime and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Lucca for a luxurious stay!

So glad we came across this hotel. From the moment we walked through the door we were very well looked after. ( also this hotel smells amazing, my husband had his eye on your giant diffusers )
Our room was really big , bright, super clean, and cool, the attention to detail is what really won me over. Flowers our entrance hall and little welcome sweets and treats. A complimentary mini bar that was replenshised everyday . Plenty of towels robes and slippers. Although our room was right above the restaurant it wasn’t too noisy and the restaurant never closed to late.
The breakfast staff were very attentive and always lovely .
Thank you for making our stay in Lucca memorable . Right up to arranging our pick up to take us to the airport yesterday . Our driver was the best, such a character .
We will definitely hope to return to stay at the tuscanian in the future .
The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Lucca. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. But the rooms were certainly a mixed bag. They are modern and the beds were comfortable, BUT the air conditioning did not work and it was so hot it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. The front desk staff spoke English, but were limited in responding in English to this issue and not helpful in getting it fixed. There were no directions in English for operating the system. Since none of us (two of us in two separate rooms) were able to make it work it seems either the system was inadequate or more better instructions should have been provided.
Air Conditioning didn’t work. Rooms were miserably hot. No one got any sleep. Staffs’ reply was that every room was using it so the system was overloaded. Unacceptable response.
Hair dryers didn’t work either.
Gave it a 2 because staff was very friendly and room are nice.
By chance I found myself following the music coming from somewhere in the middle of Lucca and VOILA I saw The Tuscanian
They were opening and I asked for a room
I got an amazing room with a lot of windows and two wonderful terraces overlooking the roff , what else !
Spent 3 night there and I also tried the restaurant downstairs , great food !

Really great place to visit the town, in the center with private parking and restaurant. me and my fiancè stayed only one night unfortunately but enough to realize this place is magic, very quiet and relaxing. We for sure will return for a longer stay.
