We read the reviews on this bed and breakfast, and were taken in. It's true it's only a ten minute walk from the station, but it's going towards the wrong side of town, also going away from the attractions. The room we were given was not big enough to swing a mouse, let alone a cat. There was barely enough space to walk round the bed. It's not good when you get up in the night. At least you can touch the walls on your way. My wife likes fruit mixed with her yogurt, after thee days of taking something from the same bowl, it ran out. After asking if there was any more, the reply was yes, it should be here tomorrow. The yogurt didn't taste too good, on looking more closely it was three days out of date. I had toast, which was a little hard before toasting. Inside the room there is a fridge with prices of mini bar items, unfortunately there is nothing in there. Someone with a duster wouldn't be missed, as you could write your name in the breakfast room dust.
On the bright side, the guys working here are o.k. And the bathroom is not too bad, and fully functional.

Location near old town, nearby train station with frequent connections to Pisa, Lucca, Siena (don't miss)... Room clean and ok, recent construction (tram rails exchange) quite noisy in weekdays. Helpful and friendly receptionist. Good place

Situated on a fully restored palazzo floor, this b&b offered us a kind and elegant ambient for a perfect stay in Florence. The rooms had high ceiling, excellent mattresses, functional vintage furniture and comfy bathrooms. All areas were well-lit and resonated a personalized and well-thought touch of elegance, which matched the elegance of the city.

We were well-pampered with around the clock care by Emo, handed with the building entrance keys and looked after for advice around Tuscany. Breakfast was well-selected with freshly made cakes and coffee which added to a homely atmosphere.

This b&b is located only 15-min walk away from the center, which made our stay carefree and totally enjoyable.

My husband and I booked BnB Marzocco for 2 nights (17th and 1th October 2017) for our first trip to Florence and Italy. The location is excellent. 10 minutes walking distance from Firenze Maria Santa Novella train station. The room was well equipped with tea and coffee, kettle etc. There was free wifi. Breakfast spread was nice: boiled eggs, toasts, ham, cheese, choice of coffee (we had cappuccino), croissants, oats, cornflakes, milk, juices, fruits etc. The owners were friendly and helpful. One of them spoke comfortably in English which was a big advantage being in a country whose native language isn't English. Very close to most attractions such as Basilica Santa Maria Novella, the Duomo, Accademia etc. We had a lovely stay. Thanks BnB Marzocco!!!

A good clean spacious room with good bedding and a spacious bathroom. Cold breakfast is adequate. Coffee is good. There us a lift. Location is not too far from the old city. Parking is a problem and costs 25 euro per night and this came as a surprise. The staff including the valet service to go park the car are friendly and effective.
