We stayed there for 1 night and we enjoyed it. We had the green room with attached bathroom and it was spacious, clean and cozy. Breakfast was good and on time. Marguerita, at the front desk, is a very sweet and helpful person.

We followed the map provided but it wasn’t easy - good that we had a map! We found a much easier way from the train station to the guest house - past the Giardino Di Valfonda (a lovely garden btw).

I was wondering how to contact them. But they eventually did using the email below:

This is a gem of a guest house, it's located about 10-15 walk to central Florence. This means it's out of the tourist central area and plenty of great places to eat minutes away. The staff at Ridolfi very helpful, and breakfast was simple but plentiful. Only negative would be noise as we were on the road side. Would stay again.

Ridolfi Guest House is a lovely place to stay in Florence! We were made to feel very welcome and the couple who run the guesthouse helped us with directions for getting around the city, as well as booking tours for us.

The rooms are quite cute with a fresh, clean and spacious feel to them. You will also be served breakfast to your room each morning, just put in your order and it will be ready in no time!

The guesthouse is not far from the main train station - about a 7 or 8 minute walk, so no need for taxis or the metro to reach it. It's also only a short walk from the leather markets and the Central market, which features a wonderful food court on the second floor - well worth checking out. The area is quite safe and quiet too.

Recommended stay if you're ever in Florence!
