This tour shines. Our guide, Alessandro, knows the local purveyors. He adds historical context (why is Tuscan bread so unremarkable? Ask him about the salt war with Pisa). The food samples are tasty, in context, and Florentine. Our tour lasted about five hours - great alternative to Florence's arts and museums.

Wear comfortable shoes.

What a great tour - our guide Alessandro was very friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. We were a bit surprised at the quantity of food during the tour, you definitely should come hungry! Stopped by several locations during the ~4 hour tour, many of which have a long and rich history in Florence - so these aren't just random spots to eat. I would highly recommend the tour, especially for any first-time visitors to Florence, as it's a great way to learn about the food culture and familiarize yourself with part of the city. A+!!!

We absolutely LOVED this food & drink tour. It was truly wonderful. We couldn’t rate it highly enough. Our guide, Madeline, was really friendly & super knowledgeable. This was more than a food and wine tour ... it was an inspirational, gastronomic journey into the world of ‘Tuscan culture’. We met some really lovely people too.. both on the tour with us and in each of the places we visited. We went on to eat in at least 3 of the places recommended on the leaflet we were given on the tour. All were superb. It was so fantastic to be shown these ‘hidden gems’ we would otherwise have missed. THANK YOU to all at Taste Florence for the wonderful memories we’ve made.

It was our first time to Florence. Tour was from 9:30 to 13:30 and a great way to be introduced to the city and some of the food. Nicely paced. Wear comfortable shoes and skip breakfast. The only thing missing from this tour was a stop for expresso or a latte. Probably not the best tour for young kids, although teens might enjoy.

I absolutely loved this tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like I was getting an intimate tour of Florentine food with a friend I've known my whole life. Great variety, super personal touches, was my favorite day in Italy.
