Stayed for a week in this lovely hotel. We were well looked after. We had breakfast included. Although the breakfast stayed pretty similar throughout the week there was enough choice and variety, and you have the option to order special items too.

The hotel has a fantastic location. Although there is no sandy beach it has a well arranged array of sun loungers dotted over the rocky water front.

The room we had gave fantastic views of the sea and the local scenery. The location was extremely quiet.

All the staff were lovely.

Because of the number of stairs and steps I would suggest this is not the best place to come with smaller kids, or less mobile people.

Did not use the spa, but the services they offered seemed very nice.

Everything was very clean.

Ate in the restaurant several times (separate review).

We booked in for two days and soon found ourselves thinking we should have stayed longer. The greeting on arrival was the first indication that we would NOT encounter the lovely Italian indifference to service which is too common in Italy.

The staff throughout the hotel were attentive and friendly. We swam in the ocean (which was brisk) beautiful clean, clear water. Service at the pool bar was excellent, which is were we first met Massimo the maître d, he suggested a lovely wine for lunch and when we said we like it, he said “you must come to dinner and we will treat you to some great Sardinian wine and food”. We were not disappointed with the food or the wine, it was so good we dined in a second night! Try the Mirto with the local cheeses fantastic.

Only complaint about the whole stay was the furniture on the balconies need some rubber on the feet of the chairs, some guest love to drag the chairs across the balconies at all hours of the day and night.

Excellent hotel in a truly spectacular location with no better views of capo cacciatore headland. Built in the 60s, the hotel is built on a headland and is designed as if the prow of a liner. Spectacular breakfast/restaurant area. The rooms are generous and the suite we stayed in was so comfortable we barely left it in 10 days. As the hotel is at the end of a road on the county of Porto conte bay there is no traffic other than hotel traffic. Lovely swimming pools. The beach is a little small. Room service efficient.

A great experience at this very secluded hotel in the middle of a natural reserve. The rooms (junior suite) was large, pleasant, and with a fab vew over the bay and Capo Caccia. The sun bathing area on the rocks is fantastic and it's a call to dive in the crystal clear sea at your feet. The pool was quite enjoyable too.
Service was very efficient and we only found helpful and smiling people.
My wife enjoyed her Spa treatments.
Very good breakfast too, good choice.
Finally, if you do sports, it is a great spot to train for open water swimming in the bay of the ninfe and running or off-road cyclng in the natural reserve on the way to Capo di Giglio.
Weak points: the pool restaurant is a little below standard for such a place and, more important, bedroom isolation could do with some serious improvements. We were lucky to be with fairly quiet neighbours but there was resonance of people walking and talking in the corridor.

A fabulous hotel in a fabulous area. A very relaxing and calm atmosphere. About 15 minutes from the airport and Alghero town by taxi. All the staff extremely friendly and helpful especially Massimo the maitre d’ and his team. We will defiantly return.
