Perfect in every way. We only stayed one night in Taranto on a tour of southern Italy but I wish we had stayed longer. The hotel has been completely restored and the owners paid attention to detail in the restoration. The room we stayed in had a balcony with a view of the old city. It was perfect. The bathroom was modern, the architect true to old Taranto. The hotel is run by a husband and wife team who are just completely charming and helpful. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. It was a perfect hotel in every way and we would go back

There is a very friendly atmosphere in this beautiful boutique hotel, a discreetly modernised old building in the old heart of Taranto. Staff have extensive local knowledge and willingly take time to sort out any queries or problems. Very good value and l will definitely return. Thank you for helping make my holiday memorable.

This hotel was a great find, centrally located and at the start of a historic walk through the old city. I had not expected this city to be as amazing as it was - but it’s interesting from when you enter the city as it is surrounded by water.
The hotel is nicely furnished with very helpful staff and is an ideal hotel, with great staff - the bar around the corner is also great to grab a coffee.
I would recommend staying here and would stay again if I came back this way.

Great location with the bus route a very short walk. The train station is nearby also. The staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you Hotel L'Arcangelo!

We stayed for one night during our honeymoon. We parked directly outside the hotel in reserved parking and were lucky to be upgraded upon check-in to the top floor room with balcony. The hotel is clean, modern and very comfortable in the old part of the city. Would highly recommend as the location, staff and hotel are fab.
