Lobby has a great wow factor with artistic and unique furnishings. Staff were friendly and knowledable about Verona. Gave us some great recommendations on restaurants. We have stayed in many hotels and the staff were truely outstanding. Enjoyed a great breakfast and wonderful service every morning well worth it to start the day. Trieste is in a good location outside the main old city walls right down the street from one of the main old gates and plazza, within walking distance to all attractions and main shopping street. You can walk from the train station too. We stayed for a week and would do so again. Ask for a room with a balcony over looking the street and small park across the way that has a market weekly.

Room tip: Ask for a balcony/ extra cost

A significant improvement from last time visited is that renovation has taken place, things have been artistically selected and placed. So there is a feel good factor. Scope of improvement is on the spread of breakfast and speed of the lift.

I stayed with a friend for one night in August and combined a day in Verona with a day at Lake Garda. We arrived to Verona train station, a short 10 minute walk away and got to the hotel soon after midday, as check in time isn't until much later we asked if it was possible to leave our bags. The guy on reception said our room was ready so we were able to check in immediately.
The room was fabulous with a real 70s vibe to it. It was spotlessly clean and a good size for a city centre hotel.
Beds were comfortable, the shower and bathroom were clean and the hair and shower gel was made from natural products and was absolutely divine.
We had booked a breakfast inclusive rate and it was a great choice. There was a good selection of cereal, breads, meat, cheeses, pastries, juice, fruit and coffee which were constantly being refreshed.
Check in and checkout were friendly, and I will definitely be returning. The design and style of hotel are quite unique and it was so much better than staying at a familiar 'brand' hotel.
For a three star hotel it well exceeded my expectations for both quality and service!

We stayed at the Trieste for one night for a trip to the opera at the Verona arena. The hotel is just a five minute walk from the Arena and a perfect location for exploring Verona . Quirky decoration, great breakfast and helpful staff all make this a lovely place to stay

The hotel is ok, the staff was very friendly and the hotel is situated just 10 minutes on foot from the city centre of Verona.

The room was good, but it features a sort of chabby chic which you need to like. But it has style at least.

Each room has an own air condition device.

The breakfast was good the first day but lost slightly day after day. But for the price of 8€ per Person it was still ok. The ladies at the breakfast we very helpful and friendly.

So I can recommend it.

The only thing is that the toillet would have needed a good scrub.

And there is no sign available for " please do not disturb". A little annoying.
