I am in residence as I write, secure in the knowledge what I say is only praise for this clean, modern, quirky hotel and its excellent staff. 'Quirky' because the décor and furnishings are an eclectic and humorous mixture of 60s an 70s style with flashes of modern art on the walls. The room is larger than I would have expected, with a marble clad bathroom complete with power shower and bidet. It is quiet here when the double gazed balcony windows are closed, and there is very efficient air conditioning. There is ample hanging space for clothing, plenty of wall sockets and lighting combinations, and free Wi-Fi. The room is cleaned every day with fresh towels by charming and unobtrusive staff. The free breakfast is continental and Italian, with cereals, fresh fruit, pastries and croissants, cheeses, cured ham...and of course, excellent coffee. The dining room staff are charming and attentive. Reception staff also, friendly, English speaking, and most helpful. My fourth floor room has a west-facing balcony with an almost uninterrupted view across the city. The only down-side to this elevation is the traffic noise from the tree lined Corso Porta Nuova below, which I soon got used to. The upside to the location is that it is just a five minute stroll through the clock gated city wall into Piazza Bra and the Arena with its plethora of restaurants and classy shops. I took this hotel because I thought it would be a cheap and cheerful two star experience. I was right, it is good value, my average night is about £66, but it is a much classier place than the average two star. I've been in worse four-star hotels. I have no hesitation in saying I will be happy to return to this magical, cultured city and to this particular hotel.
Beautifully stylish and modern hotel, with wonderful staff that were always more than happy to help. The location is perfect for exploring the city as well as being only a short walk to the train station. What more can I say?

The decor was a little strange but everything else about this hotel was excellent, the reception staff especially were welcoming and most helpful. We walked everywhere in Verona and never felt too far from away from this hotel. The train and bus stations were within easy walking distance as well as all the main sights and places to eat. Breakfast was good, too, so we started the day happy.

You won't get bored at this hotel: Both the lobby and the rooms are filled with interesting "works of art": a large yellow dog on the reception counter, a life size robot in the window, and a fainting couch in one of the rooms. In addition, the breakfast is outstanding. However, Mathias went above and beyond when he created a mailing tube for us out of two empty water bottles and packing tape. Thanks Matthias!

Lovely hotel about a 10min walk from the train station/airport bus drop off and very close to historic centre. Super helpful staff. Nice room with balcony and views of the mountains in the distance, quirky artworks, and breakfast.
