The actual castle, and the views from the walls and towers are amazing to see.
The museum itself is largely a collection of religious art from C14th - C19th with a couple of small rooms of renaissance hand weaponry to view.

The museum is ok, but honestly the grounds are nice with some ruins in them and they lead directly onto the bridge, which is beautiful. Personally, save your money and just spend time on the bridge.

We walked around the Castelvecchio last week, the place is fantastic. you have to pay if you want to see the museum but we just walked around the inside which is free, then crossed over the river on the old bridge.

Pleasantly surprised by how much the was to see. Takes quite a while to get around the whole museum/castle. Definitely recommend visiting here while in Verona.

At the end of via Roma, from piazza Bra (where there is L’Arena) along the river you find it. It’s possibile to visit inside and from the top verona skyline is open to you ...you have to pay a visit here
