Many of the reviews I read before staying here made me feel gutted I booked here. However, it was completely opposite to all the previous comments the room was clean and tidy. It was cleaned everyday and we was given a fresh load of toiletries everyday. The beds were comfortable and overall the room was nice. The staff were kind we was greeted at arrival and they said hello every time we crossed paths. Unfortunately we didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment on that but the position of the hotel was perfect it’s less than a 5 minute walk to the train station which you can buy tickets to central venice for €1.35.
The only downside to staying here was the extra city tax but that is expected when staying somewhere abroad.
Overall we had a great experience

Part of a tour and, being the end, were booked in for a couple of days prior to joining a cruise.
Hotel is clean and is okay. Not the worst and not the best we have stayed in.
Breakfasts, concurring with everyone else on the reviews, was more than woeful. Unimaginative, cold and beyond basic. You will eat it if you are hungry.
We ate twice for dinner. The first night because it was late and the last night because it was raining. Very little choice but both times were the same outcome. Edible, but tasteless and a little pricey for what it was.
Bus stops outside for Venice city. €1.50 prepaid ticket purchased from the newsagents around the corner.
Our room had an air conditioner that barely operated, so we left the window open. The view was less than delightful as the photo will attest. I guess someone had to have this room - it was just our bad luck it was us.

Nice hotel very clean. Breakfast was basic. They have scrambled egg, bread, ham, cheese, some fruits, coffe (but coffe it was from a machine). Coffee maker available upon request. Bathroom: a little bit confused with shower head.
