Having read reviews we were very excited to stay at this hotel. Too bad we were disappointed. This hotel is not cheap and we expected more.
First - wifi was intermittent at best which was very irritating. Especially since the phone in our room didn't work and for the duration of our stay wasn't fixed or replaced.

The staff were mostly friendly but rather hapless- apparently they weren't able to replace the phone. Nor did they make a restaurant reservation we requested, or bother to let us know, which spoiled our evening plans.

Breakfast had a very limited selection but was tasty. Coffee was excellent and service was good.

Location is ok, but far from center of city by foot.

The hotel does have a boutique artsy feel to it, and our room was nice, but overall we felt it was overpriced for the quality of our stay.

PS- Bring your own conditioner.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel..it looked good on the screen, but when staying there I was underwhelmed.

Possibly because from the start of the experience i was disappointed...online the room was quoted at 81 euros, and an Italian friend called and made the booking for me only a view hours ahead of check-in and the rate was 90 euro
When I checked in and asked about this, I was given the room at 81 euros, but I didn't feel that this should have been something I needed to check on

The room I received didn't look like the one I saw online either, but it was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was well designed and stylish .

Being an "art" hotel, yes there is a lot of art, and some really great pieces, but design wise the main foyer/bar area is really tacky, and doesn't enhance the art collection. Being in the design industry, it's subjective of course!

The stairs to the room from the lift are annoying, and the numbers of the rooms are not easily identified if you walk out of the lift from the reception. I walked back and forth with a big suitcase looking for my room

This part is probably what bothered me the most, and is my fault I didn't research it better
The hotel is not that close to town...it's a good 20-25 minute walk into the town. There are no small bars, coffee shops, or boutiques around this area at all. If you are alone and the first time in this city, maybe consider somewhere else

Service was fine, and maybe the price reflects the location, so, if you are happy to be out of town and have different needs then me, then stay here

The people were very polite and helpful and their english was very good. My room theme was very interesting, a concrete-rebar theme. Spacious, a little dark for business use but would be very nice for a couple vacation.

Room tip: There was a Feng Shui room and if you don't want to sleep on the floor (futon) then you better check ahead.

Each room is designed differently. A very nice original hotel that offers a very good service. The actual quality of sleep is not as good as the originality - however, not a major issue.

the bar and breakfast was particularly fun and the waiters very friendly

only negative was that the free wifi just simply nervier worked

I stayed at the this hotel as part of a Cosmos tour. The room was fairly spacious, simply but artistically furnished and very clean. I was pleased that the hotel was air conditioned and had a good night's sleep. There was free wifi and it worked well. There were plenty of places to sit in the public areas. The dining place was artistic also. The breakfast was ok. Enjoyed the art and the stay!
