Stayed at the Sitea while visiting my daughter who is living in Turin for 6 months while working. The hotel is beautiful, in a great location, and has a charming feel to it. The best part are the people at the front desk, who are smiling, welcoming, and always available to help you out...even if you're Italian language skills are a bit lacking:) Would highly recommend the Grand Sitea!

Turin is somewhere we have visited for many years, sometimes staying in hotels, sometimes with family. We wanted to be central in Turin this time so booked the Grand Hotel Sitea on line. We were delighted with everything about it. Our room was spacious and overlooked the corner of a pedestrianized street and a quiet (at night) street, .the breakfast was wonderfully varied and constantly fresh and the spacious and comfortable seating areas, including the small garden, added to the pleasure. The tortoises were a talking point. Above all, the staff were unfailingly helpful, smart, cheerful and knowledgeable - not something always found in Italy.
We are planning our next visit already!

Room tip: Rooms over the pedestrianized street are quieter

This hotel is quite lovely and is in a wonderful location to walk the charming piazzas. I was traveling with my teenage sons and so I booked a regular room for them and a single for me; the best thing was they were adjoining! Very comfortable accommodations!! The service was very commendable, even before we arrived, they helped us with booking activities we were not able to do online. Making suggestions for dinner, and being generally helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a nice benefit. For me, I would not stay anywhere else in Turin.

We picked this hotel based on good reviews and it didn't disappoint. After travelling in Italy we wanted somewhere nice to relax for a couple of nights before our flight home from Turin. The hotel is in a great location, an easy, level walk from Porto Nuova railway station on a pedestrianised street a couple of blocks from the city centre shopping area. Check-in was quick and efficient, room at the rear of the hotel was large, quiet, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Hotel itself is in an old building decorated in elegant and traditional style, a lovely place to simply sit and relax - there is also a small garden. We only ate breakfast at the hotel - this was an excellent buffet with plenty of choice served in the restaurant - think white tablecloths, silver cutlery and waiter service to bring your coffees and extras. The bar also serves snacks which looked reasonably priced but we ate out in the evening so cannot say how good they were. Overall this hotel isn't cheap but we felt it was worth the money to stay in such lovely surroundings. All staff courteous and helpful - check-out was equally quick and efficient - free wifi - we would definitely recommend this hotel and will return if we are ever back in that part of Italy.

Had heard good reviews about this hotel and it didn't disappoint. Checkin was quick and easy. We had a room at the back of the hotel with views onto other buildings but this is better than being at the front where you hear the traffic from the road outside (although it's supposed to be pedestrian there are still taxis and delivery trucks).

The room was nice and styled more traditional than modern. Cleanliness was good but I think the could take a feather duster to the ceilings a bit more often.

Breakfast was included and had a good selection. Not a lot of hot items but you can order additional from a small menu and at a reasonable price. The cold selection and cakes were however very good. Also offer Prossecco every morning too. One downside is that if you have a latte make sure you ask them to make it hot as most often its luke warm .

The bar served some meals but is a little cramped to eat there. Chesterfield sofas and chairs not ideal at low tables for eating. However the food is very nice and they also do a great selection of small eats before your meal is served. I'd go to the bar for these alone. Even if you just go for coffee or a glass of wine you still get a small selection of little nibbles and the chocolates are amazing.

The hotel is in a great location for walking around Torino and you certainly don't need a car. I would be very wary of having one here as its a controlled traffic zone so you can only come in and out at either very early morning or later at night. If the cameras clock you at any other times its a €90 euro fine each time!

I love this hotel and would not hesitate to go back.
