Good value hotel. Rooms are a little small but sufficient. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast with wide range of food. Rooms are a bit noisy, the walls seem quite thin and this would probably put me off staying there again as I like my sleep but otherwise a great hotel.

Cross the road from the Porta Nova station and turn right. Proceed along the colonaded walk way until the first road on your left i.e. under the arches, the first turning on your right is via Guarini and the hotel is on your left.
ll the staff spoke English and were very helpful. My room (309) had everything I wanted. The layout of the room next door must have been diferent from mine as it sounded as if the man in this room was peeing behind my head when I was in bed.
Breakfast had a good selection.
In the evening I eat at the Urbani Restaurant, vis Scluzzo which looked up market but which was good value for money, again the staff spoke English.

Lovely hotel but rooms quite small. It is near main city attractions so it does not take long to visit museums and places of interest. In the same building is a great pizza restaurant in case you fancy different place to eat. Air conditioning was working but was a little noisy.

The overall experience was very good, and indeed this was my second time as a guest in this hotel, being the first one last year.
The hotel is very close to the train station and the main squares. We found the rooms large enough for our needs, and very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly, and how nice it is to find a hotel where you can borrow an umbrella when it rains! (Do not take it for granted when travelling in Italy). The breakfast was very good. No problems with AC and wifi.
If I have to point out some minor inconveniences: the elevators are tiny; the bathrooms are not completely soundproof; we couldn't find a safety box in our room (but on the other hand, we didn't ask the staff either).
