Situated in Pjazza Castello , Palazzo Madama is not to be missed. It contains a beautiful collection of paintings, china and other artistic objects. Entrance is free if you have the Turin -Piedmonte card.

This is almost 3different attractions in one. You can visit the old Roman part of the castle down in the most area, there’s a great museum of decorative arts, money, books, etc., the palace rooms are opulent and decorated with beautiful frescoes and silk damask wall coverings. Last bit not least, take the elevator to the top of the tower for panoramic views

It’s also a great place for a coffee. The cafe is on the same level as the palace rooms and offers wide views in a sumptuous setting. The coffee was excellent too.

It is a lovely palace. It’s smaller than Pallazo reale. The art work and the grandness of the rooms is not any less.

Just as wonderful as much of the art inside it, so much a part of the absolute joy of this museum is the building it is housed in. It has been built/added on through different centuries. The medieval art is spectacular with thoughtfully selected pieces that showcase the best of the time without overwhelming. The panorama view from the north tower was a highlight for me: beautiful views of the city with buildings dated for your reference. The second floor was largely ceramics, et al, not my cup of tea, so we breezed through this but for those interested in this area, much, much to see. The next highlight was the Renaissance art. The rooms in which they hang are great, particularly the central room (name escapes me at the moment, but you'll know it when you see it). Wonderful paintings in unique Baroque decorated rooms. Très chic! And the gardens in the moat are nice. All in all, with all that Turin has to offer, this was a nicely selected museum for us, especially given its central location next to the Palace.

Nice palace, with beautiful art gallery and lovely garden full of wonderful flowers. Worth visiting but take some time because there are too many interesting things to see. 3 levels of art, one level with panoramic view and a level with the beautiful garden. 10 euro the entrance but ask if there is any extra gallery in that perioud inside the Palace.
