We stayed here for 4 nights, booked because of the price and location to metro & train station. The 1st thing you have to note on arrival is that it stands out situated in an urban area between 2 derelict buildings and it felt quite a way out of the centre of Milan. Taxi from Linate cost €60.
Check in was fast & efficient & the staff were very helpful answering our questions .
There were 4 lifts which were always very busy so had to use the stairs a lot when we weren't carrying luggage.
The rooms were very spacious with a decent sized super king bed and a separate single if needed. It was well decorated and modern. The only down side was that it didn't have an iron and if that's what you needed, like I did, then unfortunately it was a trek downstairs to a specific laundry room. The one downside to the rooms were that the floors were wooden and every movement was heard, in addition the noise from the corridor was constant.
We were disappointed with breakfast, whilst this was included in the price, it was like a school canteen facility and was manic, difficulty to get a table. The hot food was poor, rock hard poached eggs with dry scrambled eggs and mini hot dog sausages. However, the cold buffet food was varied & plentiful. The staff at breakfast were very attentive and only too happy to help.
To get into Milan, there was a train station immediately at the back of the hotel, we didn't use this as it didn't go direct to the centre and we'd have to changed to the metro, so we always made the 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station, which was easy to use and very clean. I would recommend at least a 2 day ticket, you get your use that's for sure.
We never tried the restaurant or any other facilities so unable to comment.
Overall a welcoming and pleasant stay and perfect if you want a bit cheaper hotel outside of the Milan centre.
