We had a most enjoyable stay in this B & B, beautifully furnished with a good kitchenette and views from the windows of the lovely courtyard and historic street. The breakfast supplied was delicious and the surroundings in the historic centre of Cremona made this apartment very special. The owner was very helpful and considerate, going far beyond the call of duty to make our stay enjoyable. This B & B helps to immerse the visitor in the fabric of Cremona's rich and sophisticated cultural heritage.

This is a great apartment about 2-3 blocks from the Piazza Commune. There was just 2 of us staying here, but it can sleep 4 people. It is beautifully decorated with antiques. Carlotta the proprietor is very nice and caring, asking what our preferences were for breakfast. It is prepared and left outside the apartment door in the morning so you can eat at your leisure. Makings for espresso is kept well-stocked in the kitchen. It is in a great location for walking to all the sights. We parked our car in the free parking lot about 1/2 mile away and never needed it for the 4 days we were there. Would love to stay there again!

We had a great time staying in B&B Monteverde - although it's really an apartment with breakfast provided as you're free to come and go as you please and have full use of the kitchen. The breakfast was great, with freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and the location is excellent, especially if you're visiting Cremona for the violin makers. Although as a relatively small town it's not far to anywhere.

B&B Monteverdi is a wonderful place to stay in Cremona! I stayed for one night with one other person at the B&B.

Location: The B&B is in a great location: in a quiet area, about a 15-20min walk from the train station, and a very short walk away from the historic center. One thing about finding the place; the google maps we printed out with directions listed was incorrect. A kind person showed us the way to the B&B, but I would recommend using the map on the B&B's website. There are many restaurants in the area, and the duomo and clock tower are a must-see. We saw the violin museum as well, and just walked around the town.

The Room: The room is really spectacular. It's spacious, with two antique, comfortable beds. It's nicely decorated too! The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, dining table, and has coffee available (either with a percolator or a keurig-type machine.) The bathroom is spacious as well, with a large bathtub in addition to the shower. All of the spaces were nice and clean.

The Service: Carlotta is very kind and welcoming. She was prompt with email correspondence before arrival, and answered all of our questions about the B&B and surrounding Cremona area. She marked out places on the map, and had GREAT restaurant recommendations nearby.

Other info: The breakfast provided was great! Carlotta set out a tray outside of the room, with yoghurt, jams, fruit, bread and pastries, and fresh-squeezed orange juice.

Overall, a really wonderful experience at the B&B in Cremona. I have no complaints about the B&B, and I wish we had another day or two to enjoy the town! Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this delightful spot. Full kitchen, large bath, very comfortable bed. The hostess was delightful and most helpful. Large rooms, parquet floors, and lots of charm. I recommend it highly.
