The owner of this hotel is very accommodating, giving advice and suggestions to allow you to get the best out of your stay. Perfect location to get the boat trips to Portofino and neighbouring harbours. Comfortable room for the money and a good continental breakfast. Excellent value for money.

We don't normally stay in 2 star hotels but Italy is expensive and the reviews are so good. Alessandro rang me to make the booking for 3 nights and arranged a airport transfer at at an exceptional price. Alessandro and Valentine are very friendly and helpful staff, they recommended restaurants, trips, everything. The hotel is basic but very clean. Shower is small but pressure good and hot water. Bed very comfortable. A huge thank you to Alessandro and Valentine for being so kind and helpful, your kindness has played a large part of our trip being happy and successful.

We were here in September 2017, for three nights where we had a comfortable stay with one exception, the extraordinary small shower over bath it has. But apart from that, it was a nice stay & lovely daily breakfasts as well. Also please be careful boarding trains at the Rapallo Station, as there three young women who PICKPOCKETS tourists, one of us was a victim. Usually they hit as you board the train in Rapallo, Italy .... or they usually creates a scene in trying to help. Be Warned .... but apart from that we had a nice stay at the Portofino hotel in Rapallo.

Undoubtly, we chose the best hotel in Rapallo. It is a beautiful traditional hotel, so well preserved!!! Excellent location, in the city center, very close to the railway station, and very close to the road for going to Portofino and Sta. Marguerita de Liguria (recommend to go there walking, it's a very nice walk). Good breakfast. And it's managed by a charming and kind family, that made everything to make us feel comfortable, including a courtesy of wine and beer.
