Tasting good, but very slim lasagna portion for 10eur. The type of food you get served and you get disappointed at first sight.
At least don't serve them in half meter plates that makes it look even smaller.

This is a seafood place. DO NOT ORDER PIZZA! Their pizza is the soggiest mess of a pizza I have ever had. I ended up eating the crust and went to get gelato somewhere else instead.

Maybe we just did a bad choice when we ordered but I believe we took the first thing on the menu – a mix of seafood. We were presented with quite many items for tasting out of which just couple of them were good, most was ok’ish and a few – just terrible. Especially octopus which was way overcooked (served in two different ways, both very chewy).

Arrived in Manarola for 3 days and this was our first meal/dinner. 2 marguerite pizzas, squid ink pasta, fried seafood and 2 glasses of $5 euro white.

Service was very pleasant with our terrible Italian. Our server spoke English and was very helpful.

Pizzas were good. Not out of this world or too different from home, but we have great pizza at home so I'm not sure the expectations are valid.

Black squid ink pasta was good, very tasty. Prawns were overdone I believe but could have just been the type.

Fried seafood was great. Very lightly breaded. Breading did not overpower the flavor.

The little fish were awesome! Calamari was better! There were things I didn't know that were great as well.

Wine was ok/overpriced.

Would eat there again, unfortunately have too many others to try :)

After strolling through the streets of beautiful Manarolo we felt a bit hungry. Based on good reviews we chose this place on the main street in this village. Our dog was welcome as well.

Ordered some acciughe (anchovies), an octopus salad and a Pizza. Two glasses of (golden) white wine each. Staff was friendly, prices for a tourist-magnet like this town very fair.

The anchovies in oil were very good, nice quality, tender. The octopus salad with potatoes another great choice. Tender and fresh octopus. It's not that easy to cook it to the point, but they managed well here. Very good was also the Pizza, topped with Porchetta and Burrata. An unusual, but nice combination. The heavy Porchetta together with the creamy and milky Burrata is a great match.

We had a really nice time here.
