First of all this hotel claims to be 4 star, absolutely no way is it a 4 star, in England it would be a 2 star. Apparently it gets its 4 star rating due to having a swimming pool and 24 hour reception. The bedrooms are dark, old fashioned and in dire need of modernisation. On a positive note, the cleaners were excellent, they kept the rooms clean and we had new towels every day. When we arrived the balcony had not been cleaned as there was a dirty towel on it and only 1 chair, when there were 2 of us staying in the room. The lift is tiny and you have to wait ages for it. The pool closes at 6pm every day. So just when you want to have a relaxing couple of hours after a busy day...think again. The lifeguard told us it closed at 6pm because she started work at 8am.. Suggestion; (employ another lifeguard for the late shift) The breakfast is interesting if you like spinach and peas !! There is so much cake you would think you were having afternoon tea... Don't let the pictures fool you there are no omelettes or chefs!! Just cereal that tastes like cardboard and croissants galore!. On a positive note the coffee is very good. The hotel is in a great location, near the harbour and beach. Unfortunately there was a music festival and fireworks during our stay so it was difficult to sleep before 1am. I think this goes on for the whole of July and August. You have to pay a tourist tax which you wont know about before you arrive and if you want to park your car in the hotel car park it is 15 euros per night, but you have to commit to parking and paying for every night of your stay. To be far, we always managed to find a parking space on the road near to the hotel. The bar was never open when we wanted a coffee or something to eat... I think it opened from 12-4 then later? So all in all it was a very disappointing experience given its claim to be 4 star and the money we paid. I have never written a mainly negative review before but I feel its only right for other people to know what to expect before booking.

If you are young adults looking to party Stay away from here , me and my friend came for a week and while the hotel was ok and the night guy was funny it was full of kids and family's. the park is full of young children's toys. the party life was a 30 minute walk from the hotel. there are no bars or clubs close by. no night life at all . so if you want the party life look for some were else.if you got young kids go at it.

we arrived early on sunday afternoon but found a free parking spot close to the hotel (which charged E 15 per day) quick, efficient friendly check in (surprised by local tax of E 5 for two per day), tiny, but efficient, lifts - big room with large bathroom and balcony with sea view. clean (apart from ants in bathroom overnight). The air conditioning was a trifle noisy but worked very very well when balcony door kept closed. plenty of good restaurants nearby. easy to walk to seafront in a couple of minutes. terrific brekky with an amazing choice - I was surprised to find a pile of green peas served cold but they were very refreshing! - thoroughly recommended

The wonderful, efficient and friendly staff save this hotel from being average.
They are courteous, well groomed, and speak perfect English In my opinion, could work anywhere in the world.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel is fairly basic, but my room had a mini bar, good aircon, a comfy bed and a clean spacious bathroom. The toiletries provided are soap and shampoo. The housekeeping is faultless.
The included breakfast is adequate and includes gluten free items. The dining room is sunny and welcoming.
Now to the negatives...the hotel grounds were in a dreadful state. The grass overgrown, everywhere full of weeds. The swimming pool had it's winter cover on but it had been left full of leaves and stagnant water. A mosquito heaven.
Why let the hotel get so run down? When we left, they were beginning to tidy it up, yet the hotel had many guests there even though it was off season.
Talking of guests, I've never heard such a noisy bunch . Shouting and banging doors into the early hours. These people were all from Eastern Europe, so perhaps behaviour is different there.
There are some nice restaurants around, the Amarina was a favourite of ours.
The bus No. 2 stops outside the gate and the No. 4 from the top of the road takes you into Rimini and to other beach resorts.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here despite a few annoyances and I would recommend the hotel for an economy break.

Stayed here for business and the room was shabby
The shower was the size of a postage stamp
Elevator was also so small that two people could barely fit in it
Breakfast - eggs were dried up in a service pan and bacon was not cooked through
Staff at front desk could only recommend one restaurant - when we ventured only 300 m down the street we found a Gem
