We were frankly well welcomed and at the reception desk they're all very kind and well prepared regarding the foreign languages. The place is quite during the night and we slept quite well indeed. However I shall mention some defects that shouldn't be present in a 4* hotel (it's my point of view): the conditioning system was very noisy in our room. When you wish to turn it off, you have to go down to the reception to tell it to do it. You can't do it automatically on your own... Then, the restaurant was closed from the beginning of the month until 19th of August... So you can't go directly to the biggest bar which is on the opposite of the entry. You have each time to go from the outside, which is not practical at all when you're with old people. I must admit however that there's a little bar above the reception desk that served you a very good fresh coffee or other beverages.
The last thing was the buffet: regarding the "croissants", they were dry and not very tasty. One of my children likes the chocolate "cornetti" but there weren't any... He felt a bit upset about it. However, I was happy to see two kinds of vegetable milks and a good choice of cereals ande waiters are very kind and efficient. As I first said, it's a good hotel in many points but we would expect some more regarding a 4* one...

We needed a place to stay overnight while driving and while the price was very fair the hotel is definitely not 4-Star. Our non-smoking room stank of smoke and when we asked to be moved the lady at the reception told us it’s because the air conditioning circulation to smoking / non smoking rooms is the same therefore they can’t do anything about it. The service is slow, not very friendly or helpful and the hallway is worn down and looks like something out of the Shining. All in all it’s fine for one nights sleep especially for the price, but the rooms do smell of smoke and you shouldn’t expect 4-Star.

To be fair this Hotel probably suits the big bus groups that roll through and it is cheap. The Reception area & Breakfast room are in desperate need of an update. The hallways are a rabbit warren of corridors, ripped stained and stretched carpet, dirty scuff marks up & down the walls. Not a good first impression. Some rooms have had a refurb, so ask for a new room. We stayed 2 nights, first room was very tired & shabby with a mattress that had seen better days, no sleep that night. It looked out onto a depressing rooftop and we were invaded by ants overnight. The 2nd room was better. Bathrooms adequate. Room size adequate. Breakfast very average. The staff try their best. Staying here was certainly not a highlight of our holiday.

Room tip: ask for a new room

The hotel appears quite smart at the front but tired and tacky inside.We stayed here for an overnight stay as part of a Leger tour to Tuscany. Slow and tedious check-in process, when we finally arrived in the room we found a double bed having booked a twin room. It took a long time to convince the staff the we really did need a twin room, and finally was swopped with another couple. The room was shabby, dark and the winfow overlooked the large ventilation flue from the kitchen area. Had to keep the window closed all night and still used ear plugs.
Breakfast was average - usual continental style.
Very bad night, would not recommend.

Room tip: DO NOT have a room at the back.

We stay for 3 Night, the room is nice and clean. Only the window is not nice...-Look to the backside of the Building. The breakfast are good, with eggs, bacon, fruits, serials and many other things...perfect for all kind of food!
